Abstract: This application relates to a positive electrode plate and a lithium-ion secondary battery, wherein the positive electrode plate comprises a positive electrode current collector and a positive active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, wherein the positive active material layer comprises a first positive active material Li1+xNiaMebM1−a−bO2−yAy and a second positive active material Li1+zMncZ2−cO4−dBd, and wherein the positive electrode plate satisfies: 0.04≤R·P/C≤10, wherein R is the resistance of the positive electrode plate, and the unit of R is Ω; P is the packing density of the positive electrode plate, and the unit of P is g/cm3; C is the single-side areal density of the positive electrode plate, the unit of C is g/1540.25 mm2. The lithium-ion secondary battery in this application simultaneously has high safety performance, low-temperature kinetic performance, high-temperature cycle performance and high-temperature storage performance.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a positive electrode additive and a preparation method thereof, a positive electrode plate and a lithium-ion secondary battery. The positive electrode additive comprises a modified lithium carbonate. The modified lithium carbonate comprises a lithium carbonate particle and a polymer coating. The polymer coating coats a surface of the lithium carbonate particle and comprises a polymer. The positive electrode additive of the present disclosure has low cost and simple preparation method, when the positive electrode additive is applied in lithium-ion secondary battery, it can significantly improve lithium-ion secondary battery safety performance without affecting electrical performance of the lithium-ion secondary battery.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present application provide a battery cell, a battery and a power consuming device, which fall within the technical field of batteries. The battery cell includes an electrode assembly and a shell. The shell accommodates the electrode assembly, and includes a wall portion that is arranged opposite the electrode assembly in a thickness direction of the wall portion. The wall portion is provided with a first reinforcement portion in a protruding manner, the first reinforcement portion extends in a circumferential direction of the wall portion, the wall portion includes a first region located on an outer circumferential side of the first reinforcement portion, and a weak portion is formed in the first region and is configured to rupture during pressure relief of the battery cell. The first reinforcement portion has an effect of reinforcing the wall portion to strengthen the weak portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery, a battery module, and a device using the secondary battery as a power source. The secondary battery includes a casing and a top cover for connecting with the casing. The casing includes an end portion provided with an opening. The top cover is used to cover the opening of the casing. The top cover includes an inserting portion extending into the casing from the opening. A plurality of notches are provided on an inner side of the end portion of the casing or on a side wall of the inserting portion facing the casing. In the secondary battery, the battery module, and the device using the secondary battery as a power source according to the present disclosure, the secondary battery can reduce the possibility of short circuit occurring in the electrode assembly and improve the operational safety of the secondary battery.
