    Abstract: An electrode plate includes a current collector. The current collector includes a conductive layer and an insulating layer. The conductive layer includes a tab portion. In thickness direction of the electrode plate, the conductive layer is provided at two opposite sides of the insulating layer. The insulating layer includes a first region and a second region, and in width direction of the electrode plate, at least one end of the first region is connected to the second region. Thickness of the second region is less than thickness of the first region, and the tab portion is at least partially disposed in the second region. The electrode plate further includes an active substance layer applied on a surface of the conductive layer facing away from the insulating layer. The tab portion is not coated with the active substance layer.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a secondary battery and an electrode plate thereof. The electrode plate comprises a current collector, an active material layer and a second conducting layer. The current collector comprises an insulating layer and a first conducting layer disposed on at least one surface of the insulating layer; and the active material layer is disposed on a main portion of the first conducting layer. The first conducting layer further includes a protruding portion not coated with the active material layer. The second conducting layer comprises a first portion disposed on a surface of the protruding portion of the first conducting layer opposite to the insulating layer. The secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly, the electrode assembly comprises the electrode plate.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery and an electrode plate. The electrode plate includes a current collector, an active material layer, a conductive structure, and a first protective layer. The current collector includes an insulating layer and a conductive layer disposed on the insulating layer. The conductive layer includes a main body portion and a protrusion portion. A surface of the main body portion facing away from the insulating layer is covered by the active material layer, while a surface of the protrusion portion facing away from the insulating layer is uncovered by the active material layer. The conductive structure is welded to the protrusion portion and thus a welded zone is formed. The first protective layer has elasticity, and is disposed on a side of the protrusion portion facing away from the insulating layer and is located between the welded zone and the active material layer.

    Abstract: A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including current collecting sections, an electrode terminal, and an adapter sheet connecting the current collecting sections to the electrode terminal.
