    Abstract: An electrode plate includes a current collector. The current collector includes a conductive layer and an insulating layer. The conductive layer includes a tab portion. In thickness direction of the electrode plate, the conductive layer is provided at two opposite sides of the insulating layer. The insulating layer includes a first region and a second region, and in width direction of the electrode plate, at least one end of the first region is connected to the second region. Thickness of the second region is less than thickness of the first region, and the tab portion is at least partially disposed in the second region. The electrode plate further includes an active substance layer applied on a surface of the conductive layer facing away from the insulating layer. The tab portion is not coated with the active substance layer.

    Abstract: In the embodiments of the present application, an electrolyte, a lithium-ion battery comprising the electrolyte, a battery module, a battery pack, and a device are provided. The electrolyte in the embodiments of the present application comprises an organic solvent, an electrolyte lithium salt dissolved in the organic solvent, and an additive comprising a first additive and a second additive. The first additive is selected from one or more of the compounds represented by formula I, and the second additive is selected from one or more of the compounds represented by formula II. After applying the electrolyte of the present application to a lithium-ion battery, the lithium ion battery has a better cycle performance and storage performance at a high temperature, and lower direct-current impedance at a low temperature, such that the lithium ion battery has both a better high-temperature performance and a better low-temperature performance.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a battery and a related device, preparation method, and preparation apparatus thereof. The battery includes: a plurality of battery cells, at least one battery cell of the plurality of battery cells including a pressure relief mechanism, and the pressure relief mechanism being configured, when an internal pressure of the at least one battery cell reaches a threshold, to be actuated to release the internal pressure; and a bus component configured to electrically connect the plurality of battery cells, wherein the pressure relief mechanism and the bus component are respectively arranged on different sides of the at least one battery cell, such that emissions from the at least one battery cell are discharged in a direction away from the bus component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated.

    Abstract: A battery cell includes a shell and two electrode assemblies located in the shell. Each electrode assembly includes a main body portion and a first tab and a second tab extending from the main body portion and having opposite polarities. The battery cell includes a first side and a second side oppositely arranged in a height direction of the battery cell. The main body portion of the first electrode assembly has the first tab and the second tab extending from the first side and the first tab extending from the second side. The main body portion of the second electrode assembly has the second tab extending from the first side and the first tab extending from the second side. The two second tabs located on the first side are electrically connected to each other, and the two first tabs located on the second side are electrically connected to each other.
