摘要: A flow meter having electrical signal outputs and a digital display is described. A transducer uses a magnet inside the flow meter to position a ball on a resistor bar and a contact bar and, thus, generate a position signal. The position signal provides an accurate electrical indication of flow to the circuitry driving the display.

摘要: A system is disclosed for dispensing a liquid at a desired temperature from a hot liquid pressure line and a cold liquid pressure line to a plurality of liquid outlets such as a bathtub, a sink or the like. The system controls the temperature of the liquid flowing from the plurality of liquid outputs as well as controlling the level of liquid within a container and for maintaining the temperature of the liquid therein. The system includes a liquid recycling system which reduces the amount of liquid discarded during the operation of the system and to conserve heat energy. The system is controlled by a novel electronic control which when applied to a water dispensing system is able to control all functions of a bathtub as well as being capable of controlling a sink, a toilet or the complete water system for a residence, a hotel, an industrial or a medical complex or the like. The system also includes novel valve menas for providing liquid mixing, liquid flow control, liquid distribution and diverting, liquid draining and liquid eduction which may be useful in many liquid distribution systems independent of the examples of the liquid dispensing system set forth herein.

摘要: A system is disclosed for controlling the flow of a liquid from a liquid pressure line for flushing a toilet bowl comprising a valve interconnecting the liquid pressure line and the toilet bowl. An electrical control generates a first and a second timer period with the second timer period being longer in duration than the first timer period. The electrical control is connected to the valve for opening the valve for the first timer period for flushing a liquid waste from the toilet bowl and for opening the valve for the second timer period for flushing a solid waste from the toilet bowl.

摘要: A hot beverage dispensing machine is disclosed for dispensing a beverage from a concentrate. The dispensing machine includes a beverage concentrate container disposed in an inverted orientation within a refrigerated compartment. A first valve is associated with the container, the first valve permitting the flow of the concentrate from the container when the container is located within the refrigerated compartment in an inverted position. A receptacle having a receptacle output removably receives the inverted container. A first electrically controlled valve regulates the flow of the concentrate via the receptacle output to a mixer wherein the concentrate is mixed with hot water from a hot water tank. A second electrically controlled valve regulates the flow of hot water from the water tank to the mixer. A dispenser spout is disposed in fluid communication with the mixer with the spout being disposed remote from the hot water inlet. A thermoelectric heat pump is located in thermal contact with the refrigerated compartment to maintain the compartment below ambient temperature. A combination of thermistors and water level sensors disposed within the water tank generate electrical signals to control flow of cold water into the tank and the hot water from the tank. A novel electrical circuit is also incorporated into the invention for controlling the various functions in the machine.
