Abstract: A vehicle display device includes a display portion attached to a vehicle. The vehicle display device acquires a position of a viewpoint-related part provided by a viewpoint of a driver or a point that moves together with the viewpoint. The vehicle display device acquires image data for generating a display image to be displayed on the display portion. The vehicle display device generates the display image based on the image data and display the display image on the display portion.

Abstract: A vehicular display apparatus is provided. The apparatus acquires image data of a display target object. The apparatus arranges the display target object in a virtual space based on the image data, arranges a virtual light source and a virtual viewpoint in the virtual space, and generates, as the display image, an image of the display target object viewed from the virtual viewpoint, and displays the display image with a display unit. The display target object includes an instrument with a needle and a shiny dial. The apparatus generates the display image through setting an area on the display target object as a reflection area and setting reflectance of a reflection suppression area smaller than reflectance set for the dial, where the reflection suppression area is a partial area of the dial and is set to cover places overlapping with the needle.

Abstract: A data communication system includes: a function management server that manages a function related to a vehicle; and an in-vehicle system mounted in the vehicle. The function management server and the in-vehicle system perform data communication with each other. The function management server acquires driving data of the driver from the in-vehicle system, specifies a recommend function, and distributes the recommend function information related to the specified recommend function to the in-vehicle system. When the in-vehicle system receives the recommend function information distributed from the function management server, the in-vehicle system presents the recommend function specified by the received recommend function information to the driver.
