    Abstract: A communication apparatus comprises: a receiver configured to receive, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information used to configure a plurality of search space set groups, to receive, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) used to schedule a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), the DCI including an information field related to monitoring of a downlink control channel (PDCCH), and to receive, from the base station, DCI used to schedule a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), the DCI including the information field related to the monitoring of the PDCCH; and a controller configured to determine, based on the information used to configure the plurality of search space set groups, the number of bits of the information field related to the monitoring of the PDCCH.
