    Abstract: There is provided a light emitting device that can be used as a light guide plate and has an excellent antireflection function to extraneous light, and an optical body includes: a base material; a macro concave-convex structure that is formed on one surface of the base material and emits internally propagating light that is injected in an inside of the base material from a side surface of the base material, from another surface of the base material; and a micro concave-convex structure formed periodically to follow each of both surfaces of the base material and a surface of the macro concave-convex structure, and having an average period of concavity and convexity of less than or equal to a wavelength of visible light. The surface of the macro concave-convex structure has an inclined surface, and an arrangement of the micro concave-convex structure is a zigzag arrangement.

    Abstract: A transfer object comprises a substrate having one or more fine concave portions formed on a surface thereof.     Abstract: Generation of outgassing is restrained to restrain deterioration in optical properties of a cover glass. A method for manufacturing an electronic device includes baking step of heating the cover glass on which an antireflection layer made of a cured product of a light-curing resin has been formed, an assembling step of installing the cover glass after the baking step at a position opposed to a light receiving surface of a sensor element to assemble a sensor module, and a reflow step of placing the sensor module on a mounting substrate and applying heat at a temperature of more than or equal to 250° C. to solder the sensor module to the mounting substrate. The baking step is performed before the reflow step to make a rate of generation of outgassing derived from a monomer having a monofunctional (meth)acryloyl group in outgassing generated from the antireflection layer of the cover glass in the reflow step less than or equal to 0.5% by mass relative to a mass of the antireflection layer.

    Abstract: There is provided an optical body and a display device that enable wavelength dependence of a reflectance to be reduced and reflection of incident light to be further suppressed, the optical body including: a concave-convex structure formed on a surface of a base material. An average period of concavities and convexities of the concave-convex structure is equal to or shorter than a wavelength belonging to a visible light band. A standard deviation of differences between respective positions of bottom faces of the concavities of the concave-convex structure in a normal direction of a flat surface of the base material and a median of the positions of the bottom faces is greater than or equal to 25 nm.
