    Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure may take the form of a projection module for projecting onto a projection surface. The projection module includes a light source emitting a beam of light, a diffractive optical element in optical communication with the light source, the diffractive optical element acts to split the beam of light into a plurality of diffracted light beams, a lens assembly in optical communication with the diffractive optical element and configured to converge the diffracted light beams onto the projection surface, and a motion assembly connected to at least one of the light source or the lens assembly. The motion assembly changes an orientation of the diffractive light beams relative to the lens assembly.

    Abstract: A multi-theater light source for two or more 3D projectors positioned in differing spaces. The apparatus includes a first light source outputting light to display left eye content, and the apparatus includes a second light source outputting light for use by the projectors to display right eye content. The apparatus includes a switching device that receives the light output from the first and second light sources and switches between first and second operating states to route the left and right eye light. In the first operating state, the switching device directs the light from the first light source toward a first projector and the light output from the second light source toward a second projector. In the second operating state, the switching device directs the light output from the first light source toward the second projector and the light output from the second light source toward the first projectors.

    Abstract: A display system for illuminating surfaces of objects in a ride or show set for viewing by a viewer in a viewing space wearing three-dimensional (3D) glasses or headgear. The 3D glasses or headgear is adapted to pass or transmit light associated with a first set of three wavelengths to a left eye and to pass or transmit light with a second set of three wavelengths differing from the first set of three wavelengths. Each of these wavelengths may be associated with a primary color wavelength for providing left and right eye content to a viewer. The system, therefore, may include a wavelength multiplex visualization (WMV) projection system projecting light having the first and second sets of three wavelengths to provide the viewer stereo content via the 3D glasses or headgear.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media related to generating a three-dimensional model of a target object. A first source image, of a plurality of source images of a target object, is analyzed to identify a first region of the first image, the first region having attributes meeting one or more pre-defined criteria. The first region is marked for exclusion from use in generating a three-dimensional model of the target object. The three-dimensional model of the target object is generated using the plurality of source images. The marked first region is excluded in the generation of the three-dimensional model.

    Abstract: A display system creating three dimensional (3D) imagery for a viewer in a viewing space wearing 3D stereo glasses. The 3D stereo glasses have first and second lens passing colored light in first and second ranges of wavelengths. The display system includes a 3D mural element with a display surface facing the viewing space and a light receiving surface opposite the display surface. The display system includes a first wavelength multiplex visualization (WMV) light source outputting a first light stream onto the light receiving surface, and the first light stream has a wavelength in the first range of wavelengths. The display system includes a second WMV light source outputting a second light stream onto the light receiving surface, and the second light stream has a wavelength in the second range of wavelengths. WMV light sources may be directed onto 3D surfaces and props in the viewing space providing 3D effect.
