    摘要: A waterproof seal for electrical assemblies wherein an outer sheath of an electrical cable is removed to expose the wires and the insulation is removed from the wires to form a window of exposed electrical conductor, the electrical conductors being maintain apart from each other and contained in a cover that may comprise a connector, an epoxy applied to the electrical conductors to fill in all the space in and around the electrical conductors and the cover to form a waterproof seal that prevents water from wicking past the waterproof seal via an interior of the electrical cable.

    摘要: A heating pad with a thermostatic control circuit coupled to a resistance heating element. The resistance heating element and an acrylic based polymer adhesive are glued between polyester film layers. The film layers and heating element are contained with a plastic sleeve. The thickness and properties of the polyester film and adhesive forms a fuse. The adhesive delaminates the polyester film at excessive temperatures causing the resistance heating element to sever thereby creating an open circuit that halts operation of the heating pad. The thermostatic control circuit includes a hysteresis circuit that compares analog signals across two thin film resistors to provide a control signal to a power controller to selectively vary the power output to the heating element. The thermostatic control circuit is an integrated circuit board disposed within the fused plastic sleeve.

    摘要: A cover assembly for an electrical connector at the end of a sheathed cable containing several insulated wires. An insulation piercing clip couples light bulb leads to the wires. A translucent housing encloses the light bulb, said insulation piercing clip, the entire section of unsheathed insulated wires, a portion of the electrical connector and a portion of the sheathed cable. The cover assembly is illuminated by the light bulb when power flows through the electrical connector and may be color coded to indicate connector function.

    摘要: A heating pad with a plurality of parallel connected heating circuits that are provided with a temperature control circuit. The parallel connected heating circuits are longitudinally separated from each such that a user may cut or sever the heat mat along predetermined cut points that are indicated on the exterior surface of the heat mat. In this way, the length of the heat mat can be adjusted in the field based on the application by simply cutting the heat mat along a predefined cut point.
