摘要: A carbon fiber plate heating element and a method for producing the same are provided. The carbon fiber plate heating element includes a core wire positioned at a substantial center and an electrode body that includes a plurality of electrode fine lines twisted around the core wire. A stitching portion fixes the electrode body to a main panel at regular intervals. The method includes arranging a core wire at the substantial center; twisting a plurality of electrode fine lines around the core wire to form an electrode body; and fixing the electrode body to a main panel by stitching the electrode body at regular intervals.

摘要: A method for reducing the resistivity of a thermoplastic film containing carbon nanotubes includes connecting an electric power supply to the thermoplastic film containing carbon nanotubes and passing electric current through the thermoplastic film containing carbon nanotubes to heat the thermoplastic film to an elevated temperature and align carbon nanotubes within the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film is solid at room temperature.

摘要: The present invention provides a steering wheel and a heater unit used for the steering wheel that does not give discomfort to a user when operating the steering wheel. A heater unit 31 is comprised of a substrate 10 made of a polymeric foam; and a cord-shaped heater 1 arranged on the substrate 10, wherein a thickness of the substrate 10 is thinner at a portion on which the cord-shaped heater 1 is arranged than other area so that the portion is formed along a shape of the cord-shaped heater 1 and the heater unit 31 is flat. A steering wheel, comprised of the above described heater unit; a wheel core material; and a covering material, wherein the heater unit is arranged between the wheel core material and the covering material.

摘要: A heat mat with thermostatic control having a reference voltage generating source that provide high voltage DC for a power controller and low voltage for a temperature sensor and hysteresis circuit. The sensor and hysteresis circuit establish a temperature threshold signal that is delivered to the resistance heating element. The resistance heating element is sandwiched between two layers of material with adhesive. Two layers of PVC protects the sandwich. In manufacturing the heat mat, the resistance heating element is placed with adhesive between two layers of material then cured and degassed under vacuum. The thermostatic control is sealed within an overmold housing or flat pack.
