Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising a feed or feed additive and a coating substance, wherein the feed or feed additive is coated with the coating substance, wherein the coating substance decreases the degree of degradation of the feed or feed additive within the rumen environment. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of said compositions for increasing feed utilization, improving animal nutrition, milk production and reducing global warming.
