    摘要: A positive electrode active material capable of improving an output performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided. A positive electrode active material of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 contains a first positive electrode active material and a second positive electrode active material. In the first positive electrode active material, the content of cobalt is 15% or more on an atomic percent basis in transition metals. In the second positive electrode active material, the content of cobalt is 5% or less on an atomic percent basis in transition metals. An average secondary particle diameter r1 of the first positive electrode active material is smaller than an average secondary particle diameter r2 of the second positive electrode active material.

    摘要: A positive electrode active material capable of improving an output performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided. A positive electrode active material of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 contains a first positive electrode active material and a second positive electrode active material.     摘要: A positive-electrode active material of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is modified to improve the output characteristics under various temperature conditions, thereby making the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery suitable for a power supply for hybrid vehicles. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a working electrode 11, a counter electrode 12 containing a negative-electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution 14. In the working electrode 11, a positive-electrode mixture layer containing a granular positive-electrode active material and a binder is disposed on both sides of a positive-electrode collector. The positive-electrode active material contains a lithium transition metal oxide Li1.07Ni0.46Co0.19Mn0.28O2 and a tungsten trioxide attached to part of the surface of the lithium transition metal oxide.

The positive electrode active material includes secondary particles 20 composed of aggregated primary particles 21, the primary particles 21 have an aspect ratio of 2.0 or more and 10.0 or less, and in powder X-ray diffraction measurement using CuKα ray, the positive electrode active material satisfies 0.10°≦FWHM110 ≦0.30° wherein FWHM110 represents a full width at half maximum of a 110 diffraction peak present within a range of diffraction angle 2θ of 64.5°±1.0°.
