摘要: Assisted clustering systems and methods are described herein that provide a user interface by which a user can easily create clusters and selectively associate data items with such clusters. Information regarding data item-cluster associations made by the user is processed by a recommendation engine to learn a clustering model. The clustering model is then be used to generate recommendations for the user regarding which unassociated data items should be associated with which clusters. In certain embodiments, after the user has determined that the clustering model is performing at a satisfactory level based on the quality of the recommendations, the user can cause the system to automatically cluster a large quantity of remaining unassociated data items. In accordance with further embodiments, a user can specify arbitrary data item types for clustering as well as features of such data types that should be considered in generating the clustering model.

摘要: In general, this disclosure describes techniques for providing a user of a first computing device (e.g., a mobile device) with the ability to utilize the first computing device to control a second computing device (e.g., a television). Specifically, the techniques of this disclosure may, in some examples, allow the user to use drawing gestures on a mobile computing device to remotely control and operate the second computing device. Using a presence-sensitive user interface device (e.g., a touch screen), the user may use drawing gestures to indicate characters associated with operations and commands to control the second computing device.

摘要: In general, this disclosure describes techniques for providing a user of a computing device (e.g., a mobile device) with the ability to utilize drawn gestures to operate objects displayed on a user interface of the computing device. Specifically, the techniques of this disclosure may, in some examples, include receiving user input comprising a gesture that defines an attribute associated with one or more target elements displayed in the user interface and graphically highlighting the one or more target elements in the user interface. The user may then utilize the drawn gesture to operate the highlighted target element by interacting with the defined selection area.

摘要: A multichannel UWB-based radar life detector includes a transmitting antenna and three receiving antennas for forming three radar echo signal channels. A 2-dimensional positioning method thereof includes: a1) amplifying weak life signals of stationary human by the channels, providing an 8-point integration method with an interval of 4 points to radar echo signals by distance; then breaking the integrated signals for decomposition and reconstruction in such a manner that target echo signals and three distance signals are formed; providing digital filtering and differential to the target echo signals for amplifying the weak but useful life signals; a2) 1-dimensionally distinguishing the signals by distance, analyzing spatial frequency according to the filtered and differentiated target echo signals as well as the distance signals for obtaining three target projection signals in the three channels; and a3) identifying the 2-dimensional position information of the targets according to the projection signals, forming an image.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and system for constructing a labeled treemap with balanced layout. A range of possible densities of leaf nodes based on designated weights of the leaf nodes and a designated treemap region is determined. A range of possible densities is then searched for a density that could be fitted on and a labeled treemap that could fit on the density. The labeled treemap is presented on a specified display region. By introducing the concept of density into labeled treemap, the present invention ensures the area of region occupied by each leaf node in the constructed labeled treemap is approximately corresponding to the weight of the node, and avoids the case of invisible leaf node in a treemap.

摘要: The visibility of a treemap is improved by offsetting the area of a parent node relative to a bounding box containing all of its child nodes while constructing the treemap, so that a part of the bounding box lies outside the area of the parent node, and the area of each child node in the bounding box is located entirely or partially within the area of the parent node. The present invention highlights the parent-child relationships in the treemap with a cascading effect to make the structural information therein more apparent and easier to recognize.
