In the method, an upper mould is fixed on an upper portion of a base body, and a lower mould is provided. When the primary molding is performed, the lower mould moves up at a different speed. The beads are drilled during the primary molding. After the primary molding, the lower mould moves down slightly. Gases generated while a material for the beads is cured are discharged, and the lower mould moves up to secondarily mold the beads. The lower mould is positioned on a pin plate fixed to a piston shaft of a cylinder. Semi-circular recesses of the lower mould are provided with pin holes. While pins fitted into the pin plate enters into and exits from the pin holes, the beads are drilled. The pin plate moves down by descent of the lifting plate, and thus the pins escape from the molded beads.

The present invention relates to a bone graft material and a scaffold for tissue engineering applications, which have an osteogenesis-promoting peptide immobilized on the surface. More particularly, the invention relates to a bone graft material and a scaffold for tissue engineering applications, which have a cell adhesion-inducing peptide and/or tissue growth factor-derived peptide immobilized on the surface. By the osteogenesis-promoting peptide immobilized on the surface, the inventive bone graft material and scaffold for tissue engineering applications can promote the transition, proliferation and differentiation of cells associated with regeneration, and eventually maximize the regeneration of tissue. Moreover, the peptide immobilized on the surface has low molecular weight, indicating a reduced risk of immune responses upon its application in the body, and can be present in a stable form within the body, thus showing lasting effects. Accordingly, the peptide makes it expedient to perform surgical operations for the regeneration of periodontal tissue, alveolar bone and other bone tissues, and will show high therapeutic effect.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for manufacturing imitation pearl beads with/without holes for use in ornaments and accessories. To manufacture the imitation pearl beads, an upper mold having a semicircular recess is fixed at the upper portion of the body of the apparatus, and a lower mold also having a semicircular recess is installed below the upper mold in such a manner that the lower mold descends or ascend. As the lower mold and the upper mold meet, urea resin powder in the recesses is melted and beads are molded through primary and secondary molding processes.
