摘要： A hose construction, coupling unit and system therefor and methods of making the same are provided, the hose construction comprising a flexible hose having opposed ends, a tubular member having opposed ends one end of which is carried by one of the ends of the hose and other end of which extends outboard of the one end of the hose, and an annular coupling unit rotatably carried on the other end of the tubular member outboard of the one end of the hose, the coupling unit having an externally threaded portion for threadedly connecting with an internally threaded coupling device, the coupling unit having an annular portion provided with a tool gripping external peripheral surface for rotating the coupling unit on the tubular member in order to threadedly interconnect the threaded portion with the coupling device, the annular portion being a part that is separate from the threaded portion so as to be adapted to be rotated relative thereto to tend to prevent unthreading of the threaded portion from the coupling device when the annular portion is being rotated relative to the threaded portion.

摘要： A lower cost method of manufacturing a ferrule. The method includes cold heading a transition sleeve that includes an annular indented seat therein, providing a penetration sleeve comprising a plurality of inwardly directed and axially spaced apart attachment means for penetrating into a hose when said ferrule is radially inwardly deformed; and brazing the penetration sleeve to the annular indented seat in the transition sleeve. The resulting assembly is visually and functionally blended to become one-piece.

摘要： A system for dispensing fuel, a hose assembly therefor and methods of making the same are provided, the hose assembly having a spider to maintain the inner hose thereof concentric within the outer hose thereof, the spider being secured to the inner hose and to the dispensing nozzle so that the nozzle, the spider and the inner hose are adapted to rotate in unison relative to the liquid fuel source unit of the system whereby a tubular unit interconnected to a venturi unit in the nozzle and leading to a drape area within the hose assembly for evacuating any liquid collecting in the vapor recovery passage thereof will also rotate in unison with the nozzle, the spider and the inner hose.

摘要： Semiconductor wafers in plastic cassettes are loaded into (and later unloaded from) an input/output station serving a CVD furnace and thereafter the cassettes are non-manually transported by a programmable elevator to and from a flat-finder, a wafer transfer machine (where the wafers are transferred to a boat) and in-process storage. The boats are non-manually transported by a second programmable elevator to and from the wafer transfer machine, in-process boat storage and a boat loader (or process chamber directly). The cassettes can be loaded or unloaded while one or both of the elevators are operating. Up to eight human assisted steps are reduced to only two such steps.Furnaces having more than one processing chamber have a loading station, in-process cassettes and boat storage and boats dedicated to each processing chamber so that there is no cross contamination between processing chambers caused by the boats and the cassettes in which wafers are delivered to the process are the same cassettes in which process wafers are returned to the input/output station so that there is no cross contamination of the wafers caused by the cassettes.
