    摘要： Compounds having improved properties of inhibiting the precipitation of metal ions when used in threshold amounts have been made which are derivatives of ammonia or di- or polyamines in which the amine hydrogens have been substituted with both methylenephosphonic acid groups or their salts and hydroxypropyl quaternaryammonium halide groups. Thus, ammonia can have two hydrogens replaced with methylenephosphonic groups while the third is replaced with a hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride group; and three hydrogens of ethylenediamine can be replaced with methylenephosphonic groups, the fourth being replaced with a hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride group.

    摘要： A vehicle is provided with a seat oriented in a passenger compartment forward of a storage compartment. The seat has a seat back that is pivotally connected to a body of the vehicle. The seat back is pivotable between a seating position and a storage position. A battery is disposed within the storage compartment. A tray is removably connected to the vehicle body in either one of a first and a second position. The tray is elevated from the battery within the storage compartment in the first position. The tray is connected to the vehicle body such that it is contiguous with and forward of the battery in the second position. A flat load floor is formed by the top surface of a housing of the battery together with the tray.

The device includes a status indicator (106) for indicating when a date or time period has elapsed. The device also includes a button (104) can be depressed so as to activate the status indicator (106). A traffic light LED system is operated, whereby a red signal is shown by the status indicator (106) if the date or time has elapsed, and whereby an amber signal is shown if the elapse date or time is imminent. A similar device comprises a laminated card structure having a portion, which can be pressed to provide status information via an LCD.

Compositions follow the formula: wherein the R1 groups are each individually selected from alkyl groups having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms; wherein the R2, R3, and R4 groups are each individually selected from hydrogen, hydroxide, alkyl groups having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and hydroxy alkyl groups having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms; wherein y ranges from 0 to 12; wherein X− is selected from fluoride, chloride, bromide, and iodide; wherein the quaternary trialkylammonium compound is present in an amount of at least 90 wt. percent; and wherein the composition comprises not greater than 4000 ppm of a trialkylamine or protonated form thereof.

The chelating compositions include 20 to 70 wt. percent of a polar solvent and 30 to 80 wt. percent of a first component of the formula: (I) wherein R is a hydroxyalkyl group and each R′ is individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, unsubstituted or inertly substituted alkyl groups, carbonyl-containing alkyl groups, carboxylate-containing alkyl groups, hydroxyalkyl groups and alkoxy groups; R″ is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, unsubstituted or inertly substituted alkyl groups; carbonyl-substituted alkyl groups, carboxylate-containing alkyl groups, hydroxyalkyl groups and alkoxy groups; M1 and M2 are alkali metal ions, wherein the M1 has a higher atomic weight than M2; wherein x+y=n and the mole fraction of M1 is greater than 0.70 to 1. Methods of suppressing crystallization and methods of cleaning surfaces employing the compositions described herein are also disclosed.
