摘要: A method and system for a tone generator assembly are provided. The tone generator assembly includes a resonance chamber that includes a first end and a second end and a body extending therebetween. The body surrounds a cavity therein, wherein the first end includes a resonance chamber opening in flow communication with the cavity. The tone generator assembly also includes a nozzle having a bore therethrough. The bore includes an inlet opening configured to receive a flow of relatively high pressure fluid and an outlet opening coupled in flow communication with the inlet opening and configured to discharge an underexpanded jet of fluid when the flow of relatively high pressure fluid is received at the inlet opening. The resonance chamber and the nozzle are positioned relatively and sized to facilitate emitting a tone from the tone generator assembly having a frequency less than two kilohertz.

摘要: A unitary-enclosure housing apparatus and arrangement for protecting and cooling the high voltage electronic conditioning and filtering circuitry components used for providing a high-voltage waveform to an electrostatic precipitator device includes a hermetically sealed dielectric liquid coolant filled tank/housing having one or more side-mounted hollow-panel type radiator structures for dissipating heat from the coolant. The disclosed unitary-enclosure housing apparatus and the particular arrangement of the internal electronic components results in a relatively external small footprint while containing both the transformer-rectifier (TR) set and high-voltage resistor-capacitor (R-C) filter components associated with a high-voltage electrostatic precipitator device in a single unitary package. The housing apparatus is outfitted with a removable top cover plate and access panel for providing easy access to the TR set and R-C filter components. A coolant drain spigot is also provided on the housing for simplifying the draining and replacement of coolant liquid.

摘要: Methods and systems for monitoring particulate in a flow of gases are provided. A particulate monitor system includes an emitter coupled to an exhaust duct and downstream from a turbine engine. The emitter emits light at a predetermined intensity through a flow of gases discharged from the turbine engine into the exhaust duct. A receiver is coupled to the exhaust duct and oriented to receive at least a portion of the light emitted from the emitter. The receiver generates a first signal indicative of an intensity of the emitted light received. A controller is coupled in communication with the receiver. The controller is configured to generate, based on the first signal, an output signal corresponding to a variation in intensity of the portion of the emitted light received. A monitor in communication with the controller receives the output signal from the controller.
