    摘要: A herbicidal composition comprises in aqueous solution a mixture of salts of glyphosate at a total glyphosate a.e. concentration not less than about 360 g/l, wherein (a) said glyphosate is in anionic form accompanied by low molecular weight non-amphiphilic cations in a total molar amount of about 100% to about 120% of the molar amount of said glyphosate; (b) said cations comprise potassium and propylammonium (e.g., isopropylammonium) cations in a mole ratio of about 70:30 to about 90:10; and (c) said potassium and propylammonium cations together constitute about 90 to 100 molar percent of all of said low molecular weight non-amphiphilic cations in the composition.

    摘要: A process for preparing an aqueous concentrate glyphosate salt composition comprises (i) neutralizing glyphosate acid with potassium hydroxide and a minor amount of a low molecular weight organic amine in presence of water to produce a glyphosate salt solution having a pH of about 4.8 to about 5.0, where the neutralizing operation comprises a first neutralization step in which a slurry or glyphosate salt solution having a pH of about 4.4 to about 4.7 is produced and a second neutralization step in which the pH is adjusted to about 4.8 to about 5.0; and (ii) after the first neutralization step and before, during or after the second neutralization step, adding further water if necessary and optionally at least one surfactant to produce a final composition having a total glyphosate a.e. concentration not less than about 360 g/l.

    摘要: A herbicidal composition comprises an aqueous solution of one to a plurality of salts of glyphosate at a total glyphosate a.e. concentration not less than about 360 g/l, wherein (a) said glyphosate is in anionic form accompanied by low molecular weight non-amphiphilic cations in a total molar amount of about 110% to about 120% of the molar amount of said glyphosate; and (b) a major amount to substantially all of the low molecular weight non-amphiphilic cations are potassium cations. The composition exhibits improved tank-mix compatibility with a phenoxy-type herbicide salt formulation by comparison with an otherwise similar composition having a lower molar amount of said low molecular weight non-amphiphilic cations.

    摘要: A safety system for high density mobile storage utilizes a photoelectric transmitter that cyclically emits an intermittent beam at a predetermined frequency into an aisle adjacent a mobile carriage. Two or more transmitters can be arranged in each of one or more clusters on the carriage. The intermittent beams are directed to photoelectric receivers across the aisle. Each receiver sends a signal to reset an associated counter each time the receivers detect an intermittent beam. As long as every receiver detects at least one intermittent beam at the predetermined frequency, the mobile carriage is enabled to move. The receivers can be on the same mobile carriage as the transmitter to protect a vertical plane close and parallel to the front face of the carriage.
