摘要: Sidestream gas sampling assembly that does not substantially degrade the waveform of expired gases. The gas sampling assembly includes a sample cell portion integrated with a filter portion for separating undesired liquid condensate from respiratory gases to be monitored. The gas sampling assembly is configured to receive expired gases through a gas sampling line, filter undesired liquid condensate from the expired gases through hydrophobic fiber elements and communicate the filtered gases to a sample chamber which is in close proximity to the filter where measurements may be taken thereof e.g., optical or infrared sensing mechanisms. The gases that are substantially free of liquid condensate are then exhausted from the sample chamber.

摘要: Content servers are directed to send messages to network nodes which are used to obtain IP addresses and to receive responses from the network nodes. The responses provide network service information. The content servers collect data based on the responses and feed the data to a routing server. Based on the data fed to the routing server, respective choices of content servers are selected and provided to the network nodes to respond to clients requesting content server addresses from the network nodes.

摘要: Server selection is optimized using randomness, feedback, and fanout. A central server maintains a vector of server selection probabilities and provides a subset of candidate servers from the vector for the client in response to receiving from a client a request for a server address to provide substantive service. An interrogating node (i.e., the client or DNS proxy) probes the candidate servers and selects a best server based on at least one criterion. The client accesses the selected server for the substantive data, and the selected server updates a counter used to keep track of the number of times the server is selected. The servers feedback the number of times selected to the central server, which, in turn, updates weightings in the vector of server selection probabilities.

摘要: A system and method for vacuum bag assembly fabrication via the vacuum bag method which reduces the amount of trapped air. The inventive system includes a chamber adapted to contain a vacuum bag and first and second evacuating mechanisms. The first evacuating mechanism serves to evacuate the bag and vent to atmosphere. The second evacuating mechanism serves to evacuate and vent the chamber to atmosphere. Thus, generally, the inventive method includes the steps of placing a vacuum bag lay up in an air tight chamber; and evacuating the vacuum bag lay up and the air tight chamber at the same time. In practice, the assembly would consist of at least two components and a heat curable composition. The components can be parts to be bonded together or layers of cloth to be made into a laminate. In this case, the heat curable composition would be a catalyzed adhesive or resin.
