    摘要： An insulated icemaking compartment is provided in the fresh food compartment of a bottom mount refrigerator. The icemaking compartment may be integrally formed with the liner of the fresh food compartment, or alternatively, may be modular for installation anywhere in the fresh food compartment. A removable bin assembly with a front cover normally seals the icemaking compartment to maintain the temperature in the compartment. A cold air duct formed in the rear wall of the refrigerator supplies cold air from the freezer compartment to the icemaking compartment. A return air duct directs a portion of the air from the icemaking compartment back to the freezer compartment. An air vent with a damper in the icemaking compartment directs another portion of air into the fresh food compartment. A control system provides for controlling refrigerator functions in a manner that promotes energy efficiency, including movement of the damper between open and closed positions. An improved latch and seal are provided for the ice bin assembly to allow removal of the bin assembly and to ensure a positive seal between the bin assembly and the front cover of the ice compartment.

The flange assembly includes a front flange leading to a return flange that extends to a rear flange and terminates in a bent flange. The cabinet assembly further includes a plurality of corner and stanchion reinforcing members secured behind respective return flange sections. The reinforcing members function to increase the structural integrity of the shell while including tab structure for mounting and/or shell deformation preventing purposes.

A first opening through the template is spaced inwardly a predetermined distance from one of the side margins and is centered on a line running between those side margins inwardly from the front margin. Also formed in the template is a tongue centered on that line, disposed toward the other of the side margins from the opening and positioned between a pair of open spaces defined through the template. A flat guide projects downwardly from the template parallel to and spaced inwardly of the line from the front margin. Various other accessory components are discussed for expanding upon the facility of usage.

    摘要： A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a liner and a shelving assembly having a support frame defined by connected front, rear and side frame members. Each of the side frame members is interconnected with the front and rear frame members such that the first and second opposing pairs of frame members combine to form an overall support frame. A front portion of the support frame clips onto mounting elements projecting from side walls of the liner, while a rear portion of the support frame is supported through first and second protrusions that extend substantially perpendicularly from one of the second pair of opposing frame members and the rear frame member. The protrusions extend through openings in the liner and into recessed cavities formed in rigid insulation material provided between the liner and the cabinet.
