摘要： A coating composition comprising a solution of an electrically-conductive polymer and an organic solvent media wherein the solvents are selected from the group consisting of alcohols, ketones, cycloalkanes, arenes, esters, glycol ethers and their mixtures; the media having a water content of less than 12 weight percent. Such a coating composition provides a means to protect an imaging element against the accumulation of static electrical charges before and after image processing while also providing the element with improved manufacturability and physical properties.

摘要： The present invention is a photographic paper which includes a paper sheet with a polyolefin resin layer on each surface of the paper sheet. A print retaining antistatic layer having a dry coverage of from 10 mg/m.sup.2 to 10000 mg/m.sup.2 is superposed on one of the free surfaces of the polyolefin layers. The print retaining antistatic layer includes a smectite clay and a film forming polymeric binder having a glass transition temperature (Tg) less than 30.degree. which does not intercalate inside and/or exfoliate the smectite clay. In an alternate embodiment the photographic paper includes a silver halide emulsion layer on the other free surface of the resin coated paper sheet.
