    Abstract: A spray bar injector including a spray bar defining a longitudinal axis and including a fluid inlet and a plurality of spray outlet orifices spaced apart longitudinally in a direction along the longitudinal axis. A check or spray valve is operatively connected to each spray outlet orifice. A master valve is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet, operatively connected to divert flow from the fluid inlet into a first passage and block flow into a second passage in a first position to open the check valves and issue a spray from the spray outlet orifices, and to divert flow from the fluid inlet into the second passage and block flow into the first passage in a second position to close the check valves and block issue of spray from the spray outlet orifices.

A second flow channel can be included in fluid communication with the swirl ante-chamber. The second flow channel feeds into the swirl ante-chamber in cooperation with or in opposition to the first flow channel. The first flow channel, second flow channel, and swirl ante-chamber are configured and adapted to adjust spray angle of a spray issuing from the injection point orifice by varying flow apportionment among the first and second flow channels.

    Abstract: An injector includes a housing including a fluid passage extending from an inlet of the housing to an outlet end of the housing. An actuator is mounted within the housing. A pintle extends along a longitudinal axis from an actuator end to a pintle head. The actuator end of the pintle is operatively connected to the actuator for actuation along the longitudinal axis. A tip member is mounted to the outlet end of the housing. The tip member includes an outlet orifice and a pintle seat. In a seated position of the pintle, the pintle head blocks flow to the outlet orifice. In an open position of the pintle, the pintle head allows flow. The pintle head includes a swirl passage therein, wherein the swirl passage is angled tangential relative to the longitudinal axis to induce swirl on flow passing between the pintle head and the pintle seat.

    Abstract: A sealing device is provided for use with an assembly having radially inner and outer parts in fluid communication and movable relative to one another. The sealing device includes a first annular lip which defines an opening for receiving the radially inner part, and an annular channel disposed radially outward of the opening. The first annular lip is configured and adapted for deformation and compressive sealed engagement with the radially inner part while permitting movement of the radially inner part relative thereto. An annular body integrally formed with the first annular lip of the sealing device defines an interior space in communication with the annular channel and the opening.
