    摘要: Method and system of a flange seal ring. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are systems comprising a metallic ring and a plurality of cogs. The metallic ring comprises a central bore that defines an internal diameter, a first sealing face that defines a first plane, a second sealing face that defines a second plane, a first groove in the first sealing face, and a second groove in the second sealing face. The plurality of cogs couple to the metallic ring, each cog extends through the first plane, and the plurality of cogs positioned one each at a plurality of radial positions around the metallic ring. At least one of the plurality of cogs configured to have an adjustable position relative to the central bore, and the cogs configured to align the central bore to a corresponding bore of a flange.

    摘要: A sealing device is provided for use with an assembly having radially inner and outer parts in fluid communication and movable relative to one another. The sealing device includes a first annular lip which defines an opening for receiving the radially inner part, and an annular channel disposed radially outward of the opening. The first annular lip is configured and adapted for deformation and compressive sealed engagement with the radially inner part while permitting movement of the radially inner part relative thereto. An annular body integrally formed with the first annular lip of the sealing device defines an interior space in communication with the annular channel and the opening. The annular body extends radially outward of the first annular lip and is configured and adapted for sealed engagement with the radially outer part.

    摘要: A combined hub joint and connector arrangement for rigidly connecting two axially consecutive tubular members is shown. The tubular members have respective hub end surfaces to be mated, where each hub further includes a flanged end having an external tapered activation surface adapted for complementary engagement with an internal tapered activation surface of the connector, The activation surfaces are able to transform a transversally acting force, when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the joined hubs, to an axially acting force when the connector is activated to make up the joint. The hub end mating surfaces diverge at least over some area of said mating surfaces and opens up in a radially outwards direction. The connector can either be a clamp connector, collet connector or split ring connector.

    摘要: A wave washer includes an annular member surrounding an opening arranged to receive a pipe axially therethrough, the annular member having a plurality circumferentially spaced holes formed therein. The wave washer also has associated with it at least one spring portion protruding axially from the annular member between two of the holes. The wave washer can be used in a pipe joint to join a first pipe and a second pipe, each having a pipe end having a pipe flange and an adjacent sealing flange. The wave washer is positioned against an inner side of the pipe flange of the first pipe. The wave washer and the flanges of the first and second pipes are fastened based on the deflection of the annular member of the wave washer.

    摘要: An example sealing system includes a retainer for a gasket wherein the retainer protects the polished sealing surface of the seal gasket from scratches before assembly by suspending the gasket inside the retainer, regardless of orientation. A gap in the circumference of the retainer allows the retainer to flex open for insertion of the seal gasket. A small chamfer on the inner diameter of the retainer aids the insertion of the seal into the retainer. The gap in the circumference of the retainer also allows the retainer to compress to a smaller circumference for a tight fit inside the sealing counterbore. A groove in the inner diameter of the retainer includes a protruding portion for the seal to engage. The depth of this groove is configured to provide some clearance inside the retainer for the protruding edge of the seal during a complete compression of the retainer.
