    摘要: The invention relates to a connection between a first piece (D1) ending in a first ring (12) provided with a succession of holes and notches, the axis of the first ring being centred on the axis of rotation of the compressor rotor in order to be attached to the intake of the compressor rotor, and an assembly formed by a second rotor piece (D2) fixed to a third rotor piece (D2). The second piece (D2) forms the intake of the compressor rotor and ends downstream in a second ring (32) comprising holes. The third piece ends upstream in a third ring (32) comprising holes, and the second and third rings are arranged against each other, so as to place their holes in alignment, and are fixed together by first fastening means. The first circular ring (12) is arranged upstream of and against the second-piece/third-piece assembly so that the notches fit around the first means of fastening the second-piece/third-piece assembly of the rotor and so that at least some of the holes of the first ring are aligned with holes of the second-piece/third-piece assembly, with second fastening means fixing the first circular ring (12) to the second-piece/third-piece assembly.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method of proximity detection based on transmitting at random intervals burst of a RF signal at a power level, and receiving, while not transmitting, a received RF signal. When detecting said received RF signal emitted by a target in range; an alarm signal is provided to warn of the proximity of the target. Another broad aspect of the invention is to deploy the above method among members of a territory and provide a monitoring patrol to verify if the proximity of those members can be detected from their RF signal. Another broad aspect of the invention is to provide to those members a plurality of status from which each member selects one corresponding to its current status and to transmit that status in the RF signal he is transmitting, thereby informing other members in range of his current status and enabling them to evaluate the potential danger associated with him.

The method comprises the step of providing a vehicle unit having a transmitter and a receiver to transmit and receive an RF signal such that a user of the vehicle unit can inform other vehicle units of presence of the vehicle unit, and can be informed of the presence of other such vehicle units by detecting the RF signal emitted by the other vehicle units located in the range. The receiver further provides an alarm signal to warn of this presence. The method also comprises the step of providing a portable unit adapted to receive the RF signal from the vehicle unit to inform a driver that his vehicle is no longer in range.

    摘要: Method and apparatus for screening peat moss material. The method comprises the steps of forming an aqueous slurry of peat moss material and flowing the slurry on a screen to separate fines from coarser particles in the slurry. A spray of relatively large water drops is directed at the slurry to agitate the coarser particles blocked by the screen in order to dislodge fines adhering thereto, whereby the fines freed from the coarser particles are allowed to egress the slurry through the screen. The water spray also has the effect of clearing the screen of fines which clog the screen openings. The invention also comprehends a method and apparatus for screening peat moss material, comprising the steps of flowing an aqueous slurry of peat moss material on a sieve to extract from the slurry excessively large particles, and washing the rejects remaining on the sieve to dislodge therefrom smaller particles of acceptable size which are returned to the slurry.
