    摘要: The present disclosure relates, in some embodiments, to locking mechanisms for a fastener (e.g., a bone screw) and associated devices, systems, and methods. According to some embodiments, a lockable bone plate assembly may comprise, for example, a bone plate and a bone screw assembly. A bone plate may comprise, in some embodiments, at least one through hole, the at least one through hole having at least one bone plate hole circumferential recess. According to some embodiments, a bone screw assembly may comprise (a) a bone screw, (b) at least one deployable protrusion, and/or (c) a protrusion driver. The present disclosure further relates, in some embodiments, to methods for bone (e.g., vertebral) fixation. For example, a method may comprise contacting at least a portion of a spine (e.g., cervical spine) of a subject with a lockable bone plate assembly.

The multiple game lottery-type game card member includes at least first and second indicia areas. A standard lottery-type game is played in the first indicia area. The second indicia area includes a unique identification symbol that is utilized for playing a second lottery-type game. An area of weakness is disposed on the card member such that the second indicia area can be separated from the game card. The second lottery-type game is played after all of the cards in a given series are sold and the winning unique identification symbol is revealed at the point of sale. This serves to encourage increased consumer traffic at the point of sale as players return to the point of sale to determine whether they have won the second lottery-type game.

    摘要: A gap collar for an electromagnetic communication unit of a downhole tool positioned in a wellbore is provided. The downhole tool communicates with a surface unit via an electromagnetic field generated by the electromagnetic communication unit. The gap collar includes a first collar having a first end connector and a second collar having a second end connector matingly connectable to the first end connector. The gap collar further includes a non-conductive insulation coating disposed on the first and/or second end connectors, and a non-conductive insulation molding positioned about an inner and/or outer surface of the collars. The insulation molding moldingly conforms to the shape collars. The connectors are provided with mated threads modified to receive the insulation coating. Measurements taken by the downhole tool may be stored in memory, and transmitted to the surface unit via the electromagnetic field.
