    摘要: Disclosed is a nuclear reactor plant, comprising:a prestressed concrete pressure vessel;a high temperature reactor arranged in a central cavity within the vessel;a closed gas cooling circuit including at least one housed gas turbo unit arranged in a turbine duct in the wall of the vessel, said unit including a turbine and a compressor and having detachable bearings; means for exchanging heat and means for transporting gas in the cooling circuit including hot gas from the reactor to the turbine, said heat exchange means and said gas transport means being arranged in recesses in the wall of the vessel;means for forming a detachable plug-in type connection between the hot gas transport means and each turbo unit;means, positioned at the edge of the turbine duct, for connecting all remaining gas transport means to the turbo unit;means, including peripheral sealing members positioned between the inside wall of the turbine duct and the outer housing of the turbo unit, for separating each of the remaining gas transport means from each other;means for detachably connecting each turbo unit to the inside of its turbine duct;remote control means for detaching these connecting means;means, including at least one lifting device controllable from outside of the vessel through a bore in the wall of the vessel, for dismounting each turbo unit from within its turbine duct;means for detaching from outside of the vessel all connections to each turbo unit which must be removed in order for removal of the turbo unit from its turbine duct; andmeans, including a duct through the wall of said vessel, for gaining access to each bearing of each turbo unit.

    摘要: The disclosure is directed to mechanical compressive shrinkage apparatus of the type comprising opposed feeding and retarding rollers arranged for cooperation with a confining shoe. Fabric or the like is advanced over the feeding roller, being maintained in contact therewith by the confining shoe. The feeding and retarding rollers are arranged to form a nip, and the fabric enters this nip immediately after its emergence from between the feeding roller and the confining shoe. The retarding roller, moving at a slightly slower rate of speed than the feeding roller, and having a superior grip on the fabric, causes the fabric to be decelerated at the nip and mechanically compacted between the nip and the shoe. The disclosed improvements are directed specifically to the construction of the confining shoe itself, enabling manufacture of the shoe to be accomplished at significant savings and facilitating maintenance and repair of the shoe. The shoe assembly includes a rigid support beam, to which are secured a plurality of contoured shoe segments whose length is a fraction of the length of the rigid support beam. A thin, contoured, liner element is secured over the working faces of the shoe segments, forming a continuous, uninterrupted working surface arranged for contact with the fabric. The liner plate is arranged for easy replacement to accommodate wear.

    摘要: A shipping carton includes a plurality of generally rectangular panels with a hinge between at least each two adjacent panels. The panels can be extended and placed at about right angles from each other to form a sidewall having an open top portion and an open bottom portion. A pair of support trays each comprising a panel member and four side members that extend therefrom fit over the portion bottom and top portion of the sidewall to enclose the carton. In a preferred embodiment, spaced-apart inserts and liner members can be provided which fit within each support tray. The panels and the support trays are secured to prepare the carton for shipping.
