    摘要: A magnetically excited, resonant cantilever sensor apparatus has a cantilever as the transducer element. A static magnetic field is directed in the plane of the cantilever(s) cooperating with a current loop in/on the latter. Orienting the magnetic field along or perpendicular to the cantilever axis and controlling the current apprpriately allows for selective excitation of resonance or non-resonance modes and/or in a self-oscillation mode. The deflection of the cantilever is detected using piezoresistive or magnetic readout. The apparatus may be used as gas sensor, scanning force microscope, mechanical filter, temperature sensor or the like.

    摘要: A switching arrangement for returning a people-conveying device to a state of readiness comprises a plurality of light barriers which are formed by emitters and receivers and whose signals are fed to at least one electronic evaluation device, which automatically returns the people-conveying device to a state in which it is ready for use after an emergency off switch has been activated. The individual emitters and receivers are combined to form a light barrier chain and are disposed approximately opposite one another at predetermined spacings. Emitters and receivers are provided alternately on each side of the people-conveying device. The wiring between individual emitters and receivers on each side of the people-conveying device is brought about by plug-in connections without any connections to the emitters and receivers on the opposite side.

    摘要: Optical detection systems and optical spectrometric systems are presented. One embodiment is a parallelized optical detection system. The detection system includes collector optics configured to receive an input optical signal, a plurality of optical filters and a plurality of tunable cavities. The collector optics includes at least one collector lens and at least one fiber multiplexer. The plurality of optical filters are configured to receive the input optical signal from the fiber multiplexer, and have serially varying pass band configured to filter the input optical signal at respective bandwidths. Each of the plurality of tunable cavities is optically coupled to each filter of the respective plurality of optical filters to receive a respective filtered output signal. The plurality of tunable cavities have band-pass frequencies with center frequencies staggered. At least one fiber demultiplexer is configured to receive respective filtered signals from the plurality of tunable cavities, and at least one detector is configured to receive and detect an output optical signal from the demultiplexer.
