Abstract: Uplink and downlink resources within a wireless network are assigned such that full duplex operation is enabled within a bandwidth parts. A first bandwidth part and non-overlapping second bandwidth part are assigned for use by respective first and second groups of user equipment. Uplink resources and downlink resources are also allocated within each bandwidth part. The uplink and downlink resources may be specified by a subband within the each bandwidth part and a timeslot, to thereby enable duplex operation of the first group of user equipment. Communications are then performed with the first group of user equipment using the uplink and downlink resources of first bandwidth part and communication with the second group of user equipment is performed using the uplink and downlink resources of the second bandwidth part.

Abstract: Methods and systems for operating a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) within neighboring geographic areas, and where a Terrestrial Network (TN) is also operating in at least one of the areas. A set of two or more candidate Bandwidth Parts (BWPs) are selected for use by the NTN from spectrum allocated for use by the NTN which does not overlap with the channels used by the TN. The two or more BWPs may each specify a contiguous set of frequencies and timeslots. One of the candidate BWPs is assigned for use by the NTN as an active BWP in a first one of the neighboring geographic areas; and one candidate BWPs is also assigned for use by the UEs as an active BWP in a second one of the neighboring geographic areas.

Abstract: Technologies for managing interference between terrestrial network (TN) and non-terrestrial network (NTN) are disclosed. An example method includes determining a location of a user equipment (UE), assessing potential interference between TN and NTN based on the determined UE location and spectrum band coverage information of TN and NTN, acting on the UE's connection to the NTN or a request from the UE for connection to the NTN based on the assessed potential interference, and updating the spectrum band coverage information of TN and NTN.

Abstract: Example embodiments are directed towards network slicing for multi-tenant location based services in a wireless telecommunication network. For each tenant of the plurality of tenants of the network, the system receives a request from the tenant for location based services for mobile devices of the tenant operating on the respective network slice defined for the tenant. In response to the request, the system provides the customized location based services to the tenant based on the respective network slice being associated with one or more location based services network functions or location based services systems of the wireless telecommunication network, which provide geographical locations of mobile devices operating on the wireless telecommunication network. The location based services network functions or location based services systems may include the location management function (LMF) and the Gateway Mobile Location Centre (GMLC) gateway node.

Abstract: An example system and method may manage interference for wireless devices in a non-terrestrial network environment. An example system may determine spectrum blanking ranges for a wireless client device, where the spectrum blanking range restricts wireless frequencies in the spectrum blanking range from being assigned to wireless client devices by ground node. The system may determine a signal quality indicator value for a wireless client device, determine an assignable spectrum range for the wireless client device based on the signal quality indicator value and the spectrum blanking range(s), and assign a channel to the wireless client device using the assignable spectrum range.
