Abstract:
A system and method of enhancing group decision-making within messaging platforms, the method comprising analyzing a conversation thread between two or more participants communicating using a messaging platform; identifying one or more keywords occurring in the conversation thread associated with an event characteristic; determining a contextual use of the one or more keywords; determining one or more events relevant to the identified event characteristic and the contextual use; locating and retrieving event-related information for the one or more events from a decision support system; and presenting the retrieved event-related information to the two or more participants.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for sharing protected media content are provided. Protected media content can be shared when at least a first and second user are proximately located. The first and second user can be bound or paired based on one or more identification indicia associated with first and second user devices utilized, owned, or operated by the first and second users, respectively. Upon pairing, media content from the first and second users' media content libraries can be shared. Additionally, proximate location can be leveraged to surface media content to other users, giving such other users the opportunity to discover new media content, and otherwise engage in transactions involving the new media content. Further still, the most popular media content associated with the second user or group of users proximate to the first user can be determined and used to prompt further interaction or display information regarding such popular media content.
Abstract:
Techniques to enhance group decision-making within messaging platforms. A conversation thread between two or more participants is analyzed. One or more keywords occurring in the conversation thread that are associated with an event characteristic are identified by comparing messages of each of the two or more participants against a keyword listing. Natural language processing is used to determine a contextual use of the one or more keywords. One or more events relevant to the event characteristic and the contextual use are determined. An application programming interface is used to locate and retrieve event-related information for the one or more events.

Abstract:
Systems and methods for creating dynamic, real-time visual representations of multimedia content. A temporal metadata visualization module receives a plurality of temporal metadata tags associated with a time code reference, representing a plurality of attributes of the multimedia content at the particular time. During playback, the temporal metadata virtualization module applies a set of display preferences and creates a visual representation of attributes identified by the temporal metadata tags at a particular time code reference. The visual representation changes based on the temporal metadata tags of a point within playback of the multimedia content, enhancing a user's experience and engagement with the multimedia content.
Abstract:
Disclosed are systems and methods for user interaction with and curation of digital media content, such that users are able to specify a particular clip of video content, and utilize the clip in a desired way. The disclosed systems and methods allow users to view video content, select video clips within the video content, save video clips into a collection of video clips, and curate the collection of video clips. The disclosed systems and methods also allow users to view bookmarks indicating the positions of saved video clips within video content, and to interact with video clips within a video player.
