Abstract: A method for generating a simulation with a simulation device is disclosed. The method includes receiving from a simulation adapter, a characteristics profile associated with a physical object connected to the simulation adapter; generating a simulation experience based on the characteristics profile of the physical object; receiving movement data from the simulation adapter corresponding to movement of the physical object; modifying a physical object representation in the simulation experience based on the movement data; and generating a simulation event including the modified physical object representation in the simulation experience based on the movement data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically and automatically generating short-form versions of long-form media content are provided. The long-form media content may be tagged with metadata indicating objects or actions in frames, scenes, portions of scenes, or other units of the media content. The systems and methods may receive a user-specified time limit and use the metadata to create a short-form version of the long-form media content (using one or more of the scenes, portions of scenes, or other units of the media content), which preserves one or more story arcs within the media content.

Abstract: A process provides a multi-device display configuration. The process receives, at a master device, one or more device parameters from a plurality of display devices. The process also determines, at the master device, an arrangement of the plurality of display devices that provides a multi-device display. Further, the process sends, from the master device, one or more display indicia to the plurality of display devices that each of the plurality of display devices displays to allow one or more users to position the plurality of display devices in the arrangement. The process sends, from the master device, a first portion of the content to a first display device, and a second portion of the content to a second display device for the first and second display devices to simultaneously display the first and second portions of the content.

Abstract: An apparatus has a receiver that receives a biological response of a user to an event that occurs during a user experience. Further, the apparatus has a memory that stores one or more predefined criteria that indicate an expected biological response to the event. In addition, the apparatus has a processor that compares the biological response to the one or more predefined criteria and adjusts the user experience based at least upon the biological response failing to meet the one or more predefined criteria.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for systems and methods for predictive delivery of high bit-rate content. The disclosed systems and methods provide an adaptive-bit-rate streaming (ABS) system with more robust information, thereby allowing more intelligent pre-caching of the media content. By providing greater information to the ABS system, the disclosed systems are able to foresee higher bit-rate segments that require greater attention, allowing the system to use such information to improve the playback experience.
