    摘要: A method is disclosed for terminating a coaxial connector to a coaxial cable. The coaxial connector has an elongated signal pin surrounded in part by an insulating jacket and an elongated shield member surrounding the insulating jacket while the coaxial cable has a signal wire surrounded by an inner insulating member, ground means surrounding the insulating jacket and an outer insulating sheath surrounding the ground means. The method includes providing an elongated conductive shield member having a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion of the shield member is secured onto the insulating jacket surrounding the signal pin whereby a portion of the signal pin is positioned within the rear portion. The ground means is electrically and mechanically bonded to the rear portion of the shield member. The signal wire is then electrically and mechanically bonded to an exposed portion of the signal pin within the rear portion of the shield member while the signal pin is held by the shield member. The rear portion of the shield member is then closed around the bonded portions of the signal wire and the ground means.

    摘要: A thermally conductive stripline RF transmission cable has a flat inner conductor surrounded by a dielectric layer that is surrounded by an outer conductor. The dielectric layer may include a base polymer and a thermally conductive material to increase a thermal conductivity of the cable. A thermal conductivity of the dielectric layer may be increased between a midsection of the inner conductor and the outer conductor. A jacket may surround the outer conductor, the jacket including a base polymer and a thermally conductive material. Additional conductors may be applied within the dielectric layer and/or in the jacket, proximate the outer conductor.

The magnetic ring produces a first magnetic field about the arrow shaft passage. The magnetic ring forms an opening between the inner surface and the outer surface, and a shaft of an archery arrow is passable through the opening to position the arrow shaft within the arrow shaft passage. The archery arrow is movable between a loading position and a drawn position. In the drawn position, the first magnetic field interacts with a second magnetic field produced by a second magnet mounted at a tip portion of the archery arrow to suspend a portion of the arrow shaft within the arrow shaft passage.

    摘要: A locating fixture system is provided for aligning a multi-conductor flat electrical cable with an elongated electrical connector having a plurality of terminals for termination to the conductors of the cable. A fixture base defines a cable platform for supporting the multi-conductor flat electrical cable. A receptacle in the base receives the elongated electrical connector generally transversely of the cable, with the terminals projecting above the cable platform for termination to the conductors of the cable. A locating pin is provided on the base within the receptacle for insertion into a locating hole in the connector intermediate opposite ends of the connector for properly locating the connector transversely of the cable.

    摘要: An edge connector is provided for a printed circuit board having a mating edge and a plurality of contact pads adjacent the edge. The connector includes an elongated dielectric housing having a board-receiving slot for receiving the mating edge of the printed circuit board. A plurality of spring contact elements are mounted in the housing along at least one side of the slot. The spring contact elements have spring contact portions extending into the slot for contacting respective ones of the contact pads on the printed circuit board. A surface on the housing at the one side of the slot defines a datum plane beyond which the spring contact portion of at least one of the spring contact elements extends into the slot. A biasing spring on the housing biases the printed circuit board against the surface, thereby deflecting the spring contact portion of the at least one spring contact element a predetermined amount.
