摘要： A fluid moving system is disclosed wherein a plurality of stacked blowers may provide for the redundant supply of cooling fluid such as air. This system may be advantageously utilized to cool electronic equipment or other uses. One or more of the blowers may utilize an impellor design that allows for the axial flow of fluid through the blower in addition to a transverse fluid outlet. In addition, the blowers may incorporate a flow gate operative to reduce back flow should a particular blower have a reduced fluid flow.

摘要： The current invention relates to a base plate (1) for an ostomy collection device, the base plate comprises at least one backing layer (3) whereon an outer adhesive layer (4) is disposed on the proximal side of said backing layer, wherein the outer adhesive layer encircles an inner adhesive layer (7) also disposed on the proximal side of at least one backing layer, said inner adhesive layer encircles a through-going hole (5) of the base plate defining a central axis A-A, wherein at least a part of the backing layer whereon the inner adhesive layer is disposed is extendable in a radial direction in respect to the central axis A-A. By allowing the backing layer to be radially extendable with the inner adhesive layer, the backing layer functions as a barrier to output from the stoma. Thus, output from the stoma will not come in direct contact with the distal side of the inner adhesive layer, which is shielded by the backing layer and thus extends the wear time of the ostomy appliance and reduces the risk that leakage may occur.

摘要： A method for generating a threshold value matrix is used in the frequency-modulated half-toning of the image data to be reproduced. A threshold value matrix for a basic screen is generated in that low-pass filters of different width are applied to the bit patterns generated and the threshold value distribution is changed on the basis of the filtered results. Furthermore, the bit patterns generated are examined for specific part patterns and the threshold value distribution is changed in such a way that undesired part patterns no longer occur and, instead, desired part patterns, preferably rounded forms, are contained in the bit patterns generated. By use of a combination of scaling and/or rotation and/or mirroring of the threshold value matrix of the basic screen, threshold value matrices are generated for the printing inks.

摘要： A ventilation system connected to a source of power for sensing a condition of air in an area monitored by said system and exchanging the air with fresh air upon sensing said condition. The ventilation system includes at least one strategically positioned sensor for sensing a characteristic in the air in the monitored area and comparing the characteristic to predetermined limit values and a fan for ventilating the monitored area. The fan is connected to the source of voltage by a connecting device upon a determination by the sensor that the characteristic of the sensed air exceeds the predetermined limit thereby causing the fan to remove the air within the monitored area and replace it with fresh air. The sensor senses any one of heat, smoke, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide, any detectable gas, any emergency condition and any combination thereof. The fan is positioned within an air duct in the monitored area which leads to a position outside the monitored area. The system also includes a reset button connected to selectively disconnect the fan from the source of power.
