摘要: The present invention provides resins for use as a sealant layer in a multilayer film, multilayer films, and packages formed from such films. In one aspect, a resin for use as a sealant layer in a multilayer film comprises (a) 10 to 30 weight percent low density polyethylene based on the total weight of the resin; (b) 60 weight percent or more of a random copolymer polypropylene based on the total weight of the resin; and (c) 5 to 25 weight percent of a crystalline block copolymer composite (CBC) comprising: i) a crystalline ethylene based polymer (CEP) comprising at least 90 mol % polymerized ethylene; ii) an alpha-olefin-based crystalline polymer (CAOP); and iii) a block copolymer comprising (1) a crystalline ethylene block (CEB) comprising at least 90 mol % polymerized ethylene and (2) a crystalline alpha-olefin block (CAOB).

摘要: The present disclosure provides a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container comprises a first multilayer film (12) and a second multilayer film (14). Each multilayer film comprises a seal layer. The multilayer films are arranged such that seal layers oppose each other and the second multilayer film is superimposed on the first multilayer film. The films are sealed along a common peripheral edge (16) to form a closed chamber (18). In one embodiment, a free moving sheet of three-dimensional random loop material (3DRLM) is located the closed chamber. In another embodiment, an oversized sheet (128) of 3DRLM is located in the closed chamber.

摘要: A nonwoven fabric comprises at least one fiber having a first component prepared from at least 75 wt. % of bimodalethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer composition, wherein the ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer composition is characterized by: a density in the range of 0.930 to 0.965 g/cm3, a melt index (I2) in the range of from 10 to 60 g/10 minutes, wherein the I2 is measured according to ASTM D1238, 190 C, 2.16 kg, a molecular weight distribution, expressed as the ratio of the weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight (Mw(GPC)/Mn(GPC)) as determined by GPC of from 1.5 to 2.6, a tan delta at 1 radian/second of at least 45, a low temperature peak and a high temperature peak on an elution profile via improved comonomer composition distribution (ICCD) procedure, and a full width at half maximum of the high temperature peak is less than 6.0° C.

摘要: Artificial turf system (10) including a primary backing layer (12) and a shock absorption component (20). The primary backing layer (12) has a plurality of artificial turf yarns (14) projecting upwardly from the primary backing layer (12). The shock absorption component (20) is composed of a sheet of three-dimensional random loop material 3DRLM (30). The sheet of 3DRLM (30) is in contact with the primary backing layer (12). The shock absorption component (20) includes (i) a cushioning layer (40) and (ii) a shockpad (50). The 3DRLM (30) in the cushioning layer (40) has an apparent density that is greater than the apparent density of the 3DRLM (30) in the shockpad (50).
