Abstract:
An apparatus for generating a 3-dimensional character motion via timing transfer. The apparatus includes an example motion database configured to store data about one or more example motions of characters with an identical skeleton model structure; an example motion analyzer configured to generate a timing source by analyzing timing in a designated example motion data among the one or more example motion data stored in the example motion database; and an input motion transfer part configured to re-adjust spatial movements in an input motion in correspondence with the generated timing source so as to generate an in output motion.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for tracing a motion of an object using high-resolution image data and low-resolution depth data acquired by a hybrid camera in a motion analysis system used for tracking a motion of a human being. The apparatus includes a data collecting part, a data fusion part, a data partitioning part, a correspondence point tracking part, and a joint tracking part. Accordingly, it is possible to precisely track a motion of the object by fusing the high-resolution image data and the low-resolution depth data, which are acquired by the hybrid camera.
Abstract:
An object trajectory tracking apparatus for tracking three-dimensional position of a high-speed moving instrument, i.e., a high-speed moving object for which it is difficult to acquire actual depth information, and a moving path thereof when information is extracted by utilizing a single depth sensor in a swing motion of sport in which a predetermined instrument is used by hand, and method therefor. The apparatus includes grid information generation unit, shadow area determination unit, initial object position information generation unit, object position estimation unit, and three-dimensional trajectory restoration unit, tracks three-dimensional route of an object, for which it is difficult to acquire depth information, in a fast sports motion such that information that allows user to correct and learn motion can be provided, and calculates a three-dimensional position and route calculated such that information required for practicing a more accurate swing motion can be provided.
