摘要： In a manufacturing method for injection-molded and in-mold decorated articles including injection of molding resin (4) into a molding space (3) defined by a decorating film (5) and a mold (1), the molding space has a product molding space (31) and a resin-discharging-use molding space (33) which is formed around the product molding space and into which the molding resin is let to flow for discharge of the molding resin from the product molding space. The molding resin is injected into the product molding space, and while part of the injected molding resin is discharged from the product molding space into the resin-discharging-use molding space, the molding resin is filled into the product molding space.

摘要： An in-mold molded product includes a molded plastic member having projections and recesses on a surface thereof and a transfer layer provided on such surface. The outer surface of the transfer layer has a contour corresponding to the projections and recesses of the plastic member and additionally has projections and recesses that are finer than those on the surface of the plastic molded member. Thus, the finished product has a matte surface with good wear characteristics. The product is molded by arranging a mat transfer member at a predetermined region of a cavity of a mold unit, the mat transfer member having the fine projections and recesses on one surface thereof, and a portion of the mold unit defining the cavity having, at the predetermined region, projections and recesses which are larger in size than those of the mat transfer member. Plastic is injected into the cavity in a direction to urge the mat transfer member against the portion of the mold unit having the larger projections and recesses thus molding the molded product.

When the pattern of a molded article has a shift, the shift dimension and the shift direction of the pattern of the molded article are detected as digital values, and positional correction is carried out by automatically moving the transfer film by the detected shift dimension toward the side opposite from the detected shift direction. Thereafter, the pattern is transferred in the prescribed position of the molded article that has undergone the transferring, and molding is carried out.

摘要： An in-mold decorated molded article wherein a coating layer is formed on a top surface of a transparent molded resin body which is flattened in a thickness direction of the body, thereby covering an edge part of the top surface adjacent to a side face on with a side gate mark formed, in order for the side gate mark not to be seen from the top surface of the molded resin body, and a decorative layer is formed on a bottom surface of a decorative layer of the transparent molded resin body. According to an in-mold decorated molded article, even when the transparent molding resin is employed with the result that an agreeable appearance is not achieved despite of a treatment for the side gate mark, the design property of the in-mold decorated molded article can be maintained, the gate mark of unacceptable appearance being not seen from the top surface.
