摘要： A data distribution system is provided which generates outputs attribute data about multimedia data in advance and broadcasts the output attribute data together with the multimedia data so that the receiving terminal can grasp the outlines of the entire multimedia data and improve the visibility. A data broadcasting device (1) generates output attribute data about multimedia data in a data analyzing portion (13). The output attribute data exists alone or is embedded in the multimedia data. The multimedia data and the output attribute data are encoded in a protocol encoder (14) and broadcast from a transmitter (15). A receiving terminal device (2) receives the broadcast data in a tuner (21) and obtains the multimedia data and output attribute data in a tuner (21). When a data display portion (26) displays the obtained multimedia data, the output attribute data is referred to and information related to the multimedia data is displayed together with the multimedia data. A data analyzing portion (24) analyzes the multimedia data and extracts the output attribute data embedded therein.

摘要： A data broadcasting station transmits a multiplexed signal in which multimedia data encoded in a prescribed coding system are at least multiplexed in a broadcasting form. A file manager stores the multimedia data received by a tuner and decoded by a decoder in a storage device while creating management information therefor and registering it in a table. A browser requests of the file manager multimedia data to be referred to, and lets it be displayed on a monitor. The file manager increments/decrements a retention coefficient on the basis of a frequency of reference to the multimedia, and determines whether or not to delete each multimedia data stored in the storage device. Thus provided is a terminal device which can effectively utilize the capacity of the storage device without deleting multimedia data frequently referred to by the user.

摘要： A reception display apparatus for receiving data blocks repeatedly transmitted from a broadcasting station at regular intervals and displaying a screen image based on the received data blocks. Each of the data blocks including a data section. Data to be displayed as the screen image is divided into a plurality of data sections. The reception display apparatus comprises: a reception means for receiving the data blocks; a data judgment means for judging whether the data section in each received data block is normal; a storage means for storing every data section judged as normal by the data judgment means without storing data sections judged as abnormal; a condition judgment means for judging, before all data sections to be displayed as the screen image are stored in the storage means, whether a condition for displaying the screen image is satisfied; and a display means for displaying, when the condition judgment means judges that the condition is satisfied, a part of the screen image using data sections currently stored in the storage means.
