    摘要: A timepiece includes an outer caseband 3 formed entirely in one piece of a hard material which likewise includes a hub member 4 providing the timepiece dial, and a metallic inner caseband 16. An annular step 10 for positioning and glue fastening a crystal 9 surrounds the hub member. This arrangement gives the hard material the rigidity necessary to resist forces acting thereon during manufacture and subsequently when the watch is worn.

    摘要: The setting stem 27 of a watch is engaged in a radial hole 29 of an inner metallic caseband 16 with a packing 31 to assure fluid tightness. An outer caseband 3 of hard material includes a radial hole 28 aligned with the hole in the inner caseband. A crown 32 of the same material as the outer caseband may cap the stem. This arrangement enables uniting the wear resistant properties of the hard material with good fluid tightness of the stem.

    摘要: A suture anchor retaining a suture is fixated in hard tissue, in particular in bone tissue, using any per se known method and is then secured using a securing element including a material having thermoplastic properties, which is liquefied in situ and made to penetrate the hard tissue in which the suture anchor is fixated. The securing element is e.g. a thermoplastic plug or thermoplastic sleeve which is anchored above the suture anchor in a mouth area of the same hard tissue opening. Alternatively the securing element is a thermoplastic pin which is introduced into an inner cavity of the suture anchor, wherein the material having thermoplastic properties is liquefied in this cavity and, in a liquid state is pressed through passages connecting the cavity with outer surfaces of the anchor.

    摘要: A drive unit for the movement of an active element with respect to a passive element, wherein the active element includes a resonator and at least one excitation device for exciting oscillations of the resonator. The resonator includes contact regions for exerting forces onto the passive element. The active element may be driven with respect to the passive element by way of oscillating movements. The resonator includes at least two arms, preferably a pair of arms. The at least two arms of an arm pair, proceeding from a connection region of the resonator, are formed on the same side of the resonator. In each case the contact regions are formed at the outer ends of the arms, wherein the contact regions may be moved to and away from one another by way of oscillating movements of the arm pair. Thereby, a relative movement of the passive element with respect to the active element may be effected.
