The first user device may send the data to the first server via a network device without user interaction, and the data may relate to activity associated with the first user device. The first server is further configured to determine a status, associated with the first user device, based on the data, store information regarding the status, receive permissions for the information regarding the status of the first user device, apply the permissions for the information regarding the status to form an advertised status, and send the advertised status to the network device. The network device may be capable of sending the advertised status to a client device or a second user device based on the permissions.
