摘要: The transducer has a case which is formed by a support frame for supporting a fluid-conducting flow tube and by a case cap for encasing at least one bent segment of the flow tube which vibrates during operation of the transducer. The case cap comprises a channel-shaped first cap segment with a circular-arc-shaped first segment edge of predeterminable radius R and with an essentially identically shaped second segment edge. The first cap segment has a circular-arc-shaped cross section with a radius r less than the radius R of the first segment edge. The case cap further comprises an essentially plane second cap segment, which is connected via a circular-arc-shaped first segment edge with the first segment edge of the first cap segment, and a third cap segment, which is essentially mirror-symmetric with respect to the second cap segment and which is connected via a circular-arc-shaped first segment edge with the second segment edge of the first cap segment. The second and third segments each have a substantially greater flexural rigidity than the first cap segment. The use of the case cap permits the case of the transducer to be made as pressure-resistant as possible at minimum cost.

摘要: A measuring transducer comprises a measuring tube vibrating at least at times during operation, having a wall thickness (s) and at least one oscillation sensor, especially an electrodynamic oscillation sensor, for producing at least one primary signal of the measuring transducer representing vibrations of the measuring tube. In the measuring transducer at least one securement element, especially a metal securement element, fixedly encircling the measuring tube essentially along a circumferential line thereof and having a total width (B), for holding a component of the oscillation sensor, especially a magnet coil or a permanent magnet, on the measuring tube is provided. The securement element has an essentially rectangular outer perimeter with a projection protruding out therefrom by a height (h) and serving for holding the component of the oscillation sensor. The projection has a width (e), which is smaller than the total width (B) of the securement element.

摘要: A Coriolis mass flow/density sensor which can be installed in a pipe and through which a fluid to be measured flows during operation is balanced over a wide density range so that accurate measurements are possible. The Coriolis mass flow/density sensor includes a measuring tube, an excitation arrangement for exciting the measuring tube to vibrate in a second fundamental flexural mode of vibration; and a counterbalance member attached to the measuring tube which counterbalances the vibration of the measuring tube. A cantilever can be attached to the measuring tube midway between the inlet end and the outlet end of the measuring tube. First and second sensors sense the measuring tube vibration on the inlet and outlet sides of the measuring tube, respectively.

摘要: This sensor (10) generates accurate measuring results, for example with an error in the order of 0.5% of the measuring value, hat has mimimized production costs as well as a shorter overall length compared to that of conventional sensors. The sensor has two parallel V shaped measuring tubes (1, 2) each being of one-piece construction. Each tube has a straight inlet portion (11, 21), a straight outlet portion (12, 22), an inlet bend (13, 23) connected with the inlet portion, an outlet bend (14, 24) connected with the outlet portion, a straight tube portion (15, 25) connected with the inlet bend, a straight tube portion (16, 26) connected with the outlet bend, and a vertex bend (17, 27) connected with the first and second straight tube portions. The inlet portions (11, 21) are fixed in an inlet manifold (18) and the outlet portions in an outlet manifold (19); the manifolds (18, 19) are mounted in a support frame (30) which forms part of a housing (3). An excitation arrangement (6) causes the measuring tubes (1, 2) to vibrate as a tuning fork. Interspaced sensor elements (7, 8) are fixed to the measuring tubes. Mounted in the support frame (30) is a feedthrough (37) for a printed-circuit board (96) having conducting tracks (97) to which leads (63, 64, 73, 74, 83, 84) of the excitation system (6) and of the sensor elements (7, 8) are connected.

摘要: A vibratory transducer comprises a flow tube for conducting the fluid flowing in a pipe. The flow tube communicates with the pipe via an inlet-side tube section and an outlet-side tube section. An antivibrator is mechanically connected with the flow tube by an inlet-side coupler and an outlet-side coupler. For driving flow tube and antivibrator at an excitation frequency the transducer comprising an excitation system and for sensing inlet-side and outlet-side vibrations of the flow tube the transducer comprising a sensor system. An internal system formed by the flow tube, the antivibrator, the excitation system, and the sensor system, oscillating about a longitudinal axis of the transducer which is essentially in alignment with the inlet-side tube sections, forces a torsion of the couplers about the longitudinal axis and an essentially torsional elastic deformation of the inlet-side and outlet-side tube sections. The couplers are so dimensioned that an inherent torsion eigenmode of the inlet-side coupler and the inlet-side tube section has a natural frequency approximately equal to the excitation frequency, and an inherent torsion eigenmode of the outlet-side coupler and outlet-side tube section has a natural frequency essentially equal to the natural frequency of the inlet-side inherent torsion eigenmode.

摘要: The measuring transducer comprises: a transducer housing, of which an inlet-side, housing end is formed by means of a flow divider including four flow openings spaced, and an outlet-side, formed by means of a flow divider including four flow openings spaced, from one another. A tube arrangement including four curved measuring tubes connected to the flow dividers for guiding flowing medium along flow paths connected in parallel. Each measuring tubes opens with an inlet-side, measuring tube end into one of the flow openings of the flow divider and with an outlet-side, measuring tube end into one the flow openings of the flow divider. The two flow dividers are embodied and arranged in the measuring transducer, so that the tube arrangement extends both between a first and a second of the measuring tubes and between a third and a fourth of the measuring tubes. An imaginary longitudinal-section plane, with respect to which the tube arrangement is mirror symmetric and perpendicular to the imaginary longitudinal-section plane, an imaginary longitudinal-section plane, with respect to which the tube arrangement likewise is mirror symmetric. An electromechanical exciter mechanism of the measuring transducer serves for producing and/or maintaining mechanical oscillations of the four measuring tubes.
