    摘要: The invention relates to a device for determining at least one parameter of a medium flowing in a line, in particular the intake air mass of an internal combustion engine. The solid particles contained in the line act on a measuring element and influence a characteristic curve behavior of the measuring element, which is used to determine parameters of the flowing medium. In order to reduce the action of solid particles on the measuring element, the measuring element is disposed in a line or a tubular body downstream of a protective screen, and an element for influencing movement paths of the solid particles is disposed in the line, on an inner wall. By intentionally influencing the movement paths of the solid particles, their action on the measuring element is considerably reduced.

    摘要: In devices for measuring the mass of aspirated air of an internal combustion engine, for instance, via a line, it is already known to provide a tubular body inside this line and to provide a temperature-dependent measuring element inside the tubular body. In order that dirt particles and liquid droplets entrained by the aspirated air will be kept away from the measuring element, in accordance with the invention, a protective screen is disposed inside the tubular body, upstream of the measuring element; the screen extends in inclined fashion in the flow direction, and dirt particles and liquid droplets are deposited on it and carried to a downstream end of the protective screen, so that via an outflow opening they can reach the inner conduit wall of the tubular body and be made to bypass the measuring element.

    摘要: To determine air mass flows, especially for controlling internal combustion engines, a hot-film air-mass sensor is provided, which may be used especially for sensing air mass flows in the intake tract of an internal combustion engine. The hot-film air-mass sensor has a sensor chip having a sensor frame and a sensor diaphragm having at least one heating element and at least two temperature sensors. Furthermore, the hot-film air-mass sensor has a chip carrier for mounting the sensor chip, as well as at least one additional heating element. The sensor chip is able to be heated up using the at least one additional heating element, which is inserted into the chip carrier. Compared to the usual devices, the hot-film air-mass sensor has a lower susceptibility to contamination, especially by oil films.
