摘要： The instant invention provides a thermoplastic composition, method of producing the same, and articles made therefrom. The thermoplastic composition according to present invention comprises the melt blending product of: (A) from 55 to 95 percent by weight of a thermoplastic matrix comprising one or more thermoplastic polymers; and (B) from 5 to 45 percent by weight of a dispersed phase which comprises a crosslinked (meth)acrylate copolymer, wherein the (meth)acrylate copolymer comprises at least 95 percent by weight derived from methyl methacrylate units and from greater than zero to less than 0.5 percent by weight derived from one or more multifunctional cross-linking monomers and/or graft-linking agents; wherein the difference in refractive index between components (A) and (B) is greater than 0.08.

摘要： A vibrato attachment for a stringed instrument such as a violin includes a movable member which projects under the bridge of the instrument and is movable back and forth to raise and lower the bridge thereby to vary the tension of the strings of the instrument. A movable actuator is disposed outside the sound box of the instrument at a location where it is readily engaged and moved by a part of the body of the person playing the instrument. Movement of the actuator is transmitted to the member under the bridge by a connector which extends from the actuator through a hole in the sound box, a rod in the sound box and another connector which extends through a second hole in the sound box and which joins the rod and the member.

摘要： A method for recovering catalytic metals from fluids containing catalytic metal colloids. Fluid compositions such as rinse solutions or dragout baths containing catalytic metal colloids are passed through a filter that entraps catalytic metal colloids on the filter. The catalytic metal colloids have a high affinity for the filter in contrast to other components of the fluids. The other components of the fluids pass through the filter while the catalytic colloids concentrate on the filter. The filter containing the catalytic metal colloids is burned, and the catalytic metal is retrieved. The method is economically efficient and environmentally friendly.
