    摘要： Systems and methods for color reproduction tolerances are provided. One method according to the present disclosure may involve selecting a printing configuration, printing a color scale sample using the printing configuration, and scoring the printed color scale sample based at least in part on an extent to which transpositions of the color swatches occur over a color range. When the score of the printed color scale sample indicates a print quality is or will be above a threshold level of quality, a print job using colors of the color range may be printed using the printing configuration.

One such method includes scanning a barcode-enabled job ticket assigned to a print job using a mobile electronic device assigned to a location on a print service provider production floor and sending barcode data from the barcode-enabled job ticket from to a PSP controller. The mobile electronic device may receive workflow instructions associated with the print job from the PSP controller. In addition, the mobile electronic device may display a representation of the workflow instructions.

    摘要： In order to provide more secure binding of physical media, activation and deactivation mechanisms for media binders are presented. As such, internal spine clamp deactivation mechanisms for deactivating a spine clamp in a media binder are presented, the mechanism including: a tension sheet configured to operate the spine clamp in response to opening the media binder in a range of approximately 270 to 360 degrees (°), normally, greater than approximately 270°; a tear line disposed along the tension sheet and oriented along the spine clamp wherein when the tension sheet is torn at the tear line, the spine clamp is deactivated. In some embodiments, the mechanism further includes a cosmetic sheet disposed between the tension sheet and a cover of the media binder for providing a cover for the spine clamp such that when the tension sheet is torn, the spine clamp remains covered.

    摘要： An intraoral data input tool for use during dental examination of a patient comprises a discoid head attached to a handle. The discoid head includes a data input device which is responsive to force applied by a stylus, and may also include a mirror. The input device may be a set of push buttons or a touch sensitive display. The intraoral input device is configured to allow a dental examiner to input data while the input device is positioned in the patient's mouth. The data input device is linked to a computer system either by an electrical connector and cable or a wireless communication device. A display may be included in the discoid head; the display may be used for confirmation of input examination data.

    摘要： Media binder systems with datum stops for registering physical media sheets are described. A media binder system that includes a cover, a binding system, and a datum stop. The cover includes an outwardly facing side and an inwardly facing side. The binding system is attached to the inwardly facing side of the cover and is operable to bind a spine end of a collection of physical media sheets to the cover. The datum stop protrudes away from the inwardly facing side of the cover and includes a datum stop surface against which a head end or a tail end of the collection is registerable prior to binding the collection to the cover. Methods of making media binder systems also are described.

    摘要： A method of forming a bound document includes providing a text body defining a first sheet and a last sheet, aligned edges of the sheets defining a spine, the spine being bound with an adhesive strip to define a first wing and a second wing of the adhesive strip, wherein the first wing extends beyond the first sheet of the text body, and the second wing extends beyond the last sheet of the text body. The method further includes compressing the first wing of the adhesive strip against the first sheet to form a first exposed adhesive bead; compressing the second wing of the adhesive strip against the last sheet to form a second exposed adhesive bead; and applying a cover over the text body and against the first and second exposed adhesive beads to attach the cover to the bound text body as a floating cover.
