The grill includes a double walled dome lid, a basin having a cavity, a grill that interfaces with the basin, a first heating element, a second heating element, a temperature controlling component, and a support that interfaces with a surface. The double walled dome lid includes a dome lid inner wall and a dome lid outer wall. The dome lid inner wall and the dome lid outer wall are joined at a base of the double walled dome lid. The basin interfaces with the base of the double walled dome lid, and the basin includes a hinge coupling the basin and the double walled dome lid. The first heating element is radially disposed about an exterior surface of the dome lid inner wall and within the dome lid outer wall. The second heating element is disposed within the basin cavity.

    摘要: An improved transmission protocol is used to transmit a signal between two components of an electronic device. The improved transmission protocol is configured to reduce the number of simultaneous channel transitions that occur when multiple signal channels are transmitted in parallel. Reducing the number of simultaneous channel transitions is beneficial because a signal that is subject to skew, distortion, or electromagnetic interference during transmission may have a shorter settling time when fewer channels undergo a transition simultaneously. When the protocol is used to transmit a signal from a controller to an optical pickup unit in an optical data storage system, the reduced settling times allow for a higher data transmission rate.

    摘要: A low voltage LED (Light Emitting Diode) driving circuit operates under low supply voltage to provide stable and reliable control of LEDs. The LED driving circuit includes a switching transistor to turn on or off an output current in the LED. The LED driving circuit also includes a control transistor for controlling the level of the output current. The two transistors are coupled via a node that is maintained at a low voltage to increase the voltage across the switching transistor. The increased voltage across the switching transistor allows faster switching and more stable control over different levels of output voltage. The LED driver also includes circuit components for matching the turn-on times and turn-off times for different levels of the output current.

Each current source (62) respectively receives a single output signal from a current control register (52) included in the writing current circuit (42) which activates or deactivates the current source (62) for supplying a particular quantity of electrical current to the laser diode (34). In each current source (62), electrical current flows to the laser diode (34) through a MOSFET output transistor (142) connected in series with the laser diode (34). Each current source's MOSFET output transistor (142) has a gate insulating layer which is thinner than the gate insulating layer conventionally used for a MOSFET output transistor (142) that is energized by the electrical potential the it applied to the writing current circuit (42).
