摘要： A dispenser for rolls of web-shaped material, includes a housing having at its bottom part an outlet opening for the web-shaped material and a space for at least two rolls arranged substantially horizontally. A first part of the space is located adjacent the outlet opening and is intended for a first roll in a dispensing position and a second part of the space includes a locking element intended to keep the second roll in standby position. The first part is provided with holding elements for keeping the first roll in use position, the holding elements are spring-loaded and cooperate with the locking elements such that when a roll is located in the first space the locking element prevent the standby roll from falling down, but when the first roll is released from the first space the locking element release and permits the standby roll to occupy the dispensing position.

摘要： A retention mechanism in a dispenser for retaining an exchangeable roll of material, the retention mechanism includes a housing including a front wall. An insertion slot for a bearing pin of an end plug of the exchangeable roll extends along the front wall. A cam lock is arranged in the housing so as to be rotatable in a plane which is parallel to the front wall and to the direction of extension of the insertion slot. The cam lock includes a retaining member which is movable between an open position and a locked position by rotating the cam lock. When the retaining member is in the open position, the bearing pin can be inserted into the insertion slot, and when the retaining member is in the closed position, the bearing pin is retained in a locking section of the insertion slot.

Retaining elements are arranged on both sides of the stub roll position to support the spindle elements inserted into each end of a roll, wherein the retaining elements arranged for simultaneous release of the spindle elements when the dispenser is opened.

摘要： A roller assembly in a wipe material dispenser has at least one pair of cooperating rollers arranged to feed the wipe material. The roller assembly comprises a first and a second roller, wherein each roller comprises a central longitudinal core on which is mounted a number of parallel and axially spaced discs. Each roller has regions of reduced diameter between adjacent discs, and the first and the second roller are located so that the axial location of the spaced discs on the first roller coincides with the regions of reduced diameter between adjacent discs on the second roller. A roller suitable for use in the roller assembly and a dispenser including such an assembly are also provided.

The article has a biologically inhibiting arrangement of electrically connected electrode materials in direct contact with each other on one or more surfaces of the article The arrangement includes as electrode materials a metallic anode material and a cathode material, where the potential of the cathode material is higher than the potential of the anode material, The cathode material is an electrically conductive material selected among certain non-metallic materials. The arrangement provided on the article releases biological inhibiting ions of the metallic anode material or complexes of such ions when the biologically inhibiting arrangement is contacted with a body fluid. The article can be designed with a controlled release rate suitable for the purpose in question for example an initial high rate of ion release after insertion of a catheter to combat bacteria introduced during the insertion followed by a prolonged release at a lower rate to maintain a low level of bacteria.

摘要： The present invention relates to compositions with self-cleaning properties. More particularly, the invention concerns coatings or paints comprising particles coated with a catalytically active composition. In particular, a self-cleaning coating composition (paint) is provided, comprising micro-sized particles coated with a functional layer, wherein the micro-sized particles are hollow or solid beads, or any combination/ratio of hollow and solid beads, wherein the beads comprise one or more material(s) selected from ceramic material(s); polymeric material(s); cermet material(s); metallic material(s); pigmented material(s); light-absorbing and/or light reflecting material(s); including any combination thereof, wherein said layer is covalently bound to said particles, wherein the photocatalytic layer comprises TiO2 in the crystal form of anatase; and wherein the coating composition (paint) comprises less than 0.1 anatase particles derived/released from the micro-sized beads, determined as weight/weight of released anatase/total amount of anatase. The invention provides paint essentially without presence of unbound anatase crystals which is highly undesired, as it is believed that their presence has a negative influence on essential components of the paint, such as binder, pigment and/or additives and furthermore, anatase may cause eye, skin, and respiratory tract irritation.

摘要： A method for pretreating a surface of a non-conducting material to be plated through precipitation of metal where an adsorbing metal oxide is initially deposited, such as MnO2 or Fe2O3 on the surface, whereafter said surface is treated with a solution of transition metal ions, such as Sn++ ions, and then with a solution of metal ions of a catalytic metal catalyzing chemical plating, such as a metal of the platinum group. The transition metal ions used are selected among such ions that can reduce catalytic metal ions into catalytic metal. The method renders it possible to plate non-conducting materials, such as plastic materials, which cannot or only with great difficulty can be plated by a conventional activation by means of colloidal palladium.
