    Abstract: An examination garment for endoscopy includes a covering portion and a first fluid suppression member. A pants-type covering portion has an insertion port that covers a subject, who is a test object, from a torso portion to a thigh portion, and allows an insertion part of the endoscope to be inserted thereinto. The first fluid suppression member is provided in the insertion port of the covering portion and suppresses passage of the fluid in the insertion port.

    Abstract: Provided are a surgical apparatus for an endoscope and an exterior tube that can supply a pneumoperitoneum gas into a body cavity without causing degradation of operability. An exterior tube is sheathed to an outer tube insertion part of an outer tube that is inserted into a body cavity through a body wall and guides an endoscope and a treatment tool into the body cavity, and an outer peripheral surface of the exterior tube is provided with a locking part that restricts the forward and backward movement of the exterior tube with respect to the body wall and the rotation of the exterior tube around an axis. A gap between an inner peripheral surface of the exterior tube and an outer peripheral surface of the outer tube insertion part is used as an air supply passage for supplying the pneumoperitoneum gas within the body cavity.

    Abstract: A tissue sampling device includes a flexible sheath 34; a needle tube 35 which is inserted into the sheath 34 so as to advance and retreat and with which biological tissue is punctured; and an operating unit which is provided on a proximal side of the sheath 34 and is used for operating the advancing and retreating of the needle tube 35. This needle tube 35 has a distal portion provided with a slit 50 extending toward the proximal side from a distal opening 35c, and when the distal portion is in a state of protruding from a distal end of the sheath 34, at least a part of the distal portion is positioned further on the radially outside than the inner surface of the sheath when viewed from an axial direction of the needle tube 35.

    Abstract: A propulsion assembly for mounting on a tip device of an endoscope includes a barrel sleeve having inner and outer surfaces. A flexible endless track device is disposed to extend along the inner and outer surfaces of the barrel sleeve, for endlessly moving in an axial direction, for propulsion by contacting a wall of a body cavity. A drive gear is engaged with the endless track device, for moving the same. A driving mechanism rotates the drive gear. Engaging teeth are formed on the endless track device at a predetermined pitch, arranged serially, moved by the drive gear in mesh therewith. A peripheral surface of the engaging teeth is curved without a sharp form. Furthermore, a support sleeve is disposed between the driving mechanism and the endless track device, for supporting the drive gear in a rotatable manner.
