摘要: A robotic actuation system for sensorless force control of an interventional tool (14) having cable driven distal end (e.g., a probe, a steerable catheter, a guidewire and a colonoscope). The system employs a robotic actuator (30) having one or more motorized gears operate the cable drive of the interventional tool (14). The system further employs a robotic workstation (20) to generate motor commands for simultaneous actuation position and contact force control of the interventional tool (14). The motor commands are a function of an actuation position measurement and a motor current measurement of the at least one motorized gear for a desired actuation position of the interventional tool (14).

摘要: A portable endoscopic inspection system comprises an endoscope having a proximal end with a flanged eyepiece for observation and a distal end with a lens assembly for insertion into a region of interest. A light port transports incident light to the region of interest along an lighting pathway, and reflected light is transported along an imaging pathway from the lens assembly to the eyepiece. A wireless imaging unit comprises a light source which detachably couples to the light port for generating the incident light, and an imaging sensor for recording images of the reflected light from the eyepiece. The wireless imaging unit comprises a variable coupling system which mechanically couples the imaging sensor to the flanged eyepiece independent of the shape and/or size of the flange of the eyepiece.

The plural pedals include first height pedals with upper ends thereof located at a first height position and second height pedals with upper ends thereof located at a second height position, which is different from the first height position. The first height pedals are arranged alternately with the second height pedals.

摘要: In one embodiment, a digital zoom and panning system for digital video is disclosed including an image acquisition device to capture digital video images; an image buffer to store one or more frames of digital video images as source pixels; a display device having first pixels to display images; a user interface to accept user input including a source rectangle to select source pixels within frames of the digital video images, a destination rectangle to select target pixels within the display device to display images, and a region of interest within the digital video images to display in the destination rectangle; and a digital mapping and filtering device to selectively map and filter source pixels in the region of interest from the image buffer into target pixels of the display device in response to the user input.

摘要: An improved endoscopic device for obtaining 3-dimensional human vision simulated imaging with real dynamic convergence in therapeutic, diagnostic, and other applications. Imaging probes are mounted on a tubular shaft and a simple/sleek slider moves back-and-forth on the shaft, with slider movement optionally modified and redirected to affect imaging probe convergence/divergence. Imaging probe convergence/divergence can be optionally manual for visual target selection, and the probe arms upon which the imaging probes are mounted may also be moved through a combined 180 degree movement range using a manual control. The first and second movement transmitting means respectively adapted to cause slider-initiated convergence, or manual convergence, of the imaging probes each share at least one integrated movement element with the control means adapted for engaging and disengaging the first and second movement transmitting means. The endoscope can be fitted with different diagnostic and therapeutic systems, and can be adapted to work with robotic systems.
