Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method of producing a cell preparation for a joint medical treatment, in which a cell proliferation ratio can be improved, an amount of serum required can be reduced, and karyotype abnormalities in a culture process can be suppressed, a method of culturing a mesenchymal stem cell, and a cell preparation for a joint medical treatment, which is produced by the above method. According to the present invention, there is provided a method of producing a cell preparation for a joint medical treatment, the method including culturing a mesenchymal stem cell in a culture medium containing an ascorbic acid-2-phosphate trisodium salt, alanyl glutamine, and pyridoxine.

Abstract: A polypeptide having an amino acid sequence in which the number of RGD sequences contained per molecular weight of 10 kDa is not less than 0.30; the number of GFPGER sequences contained per molecular weight of 10 kDa is not less than 0.15; and the number of GVMGFP sequences contained per molecular weight of 10 kDa is less than 0.30; is provided. A scaffold composition, a composition for repairing a cartilage tissue, a composition for culturing cartilage cells, and a composition for promoting glycosaminoglycan production, which compositions contain the above polypeptide, are also provided.
