摘要:
Organically polluted waters are purified by contacting with a solid copper-manganese-oxygen catalyst promoted with an iron group metal under oxidizing conditions. In one preferred embodiment, an aqueous stream obtained from the effluent of an oxidative dehydrogenation process containing contaminating oxygen-containing organic materials is subjected to oxidizing conditions in the presence of a copper-manganese-iron-oxygen catalyst to convert the water to a potable aqueous product.
摘要:
Catalyst compositions comprising zinc aluminate promoted with at least one metal selected from metals of Groups IIIB, IVB, VB, VIB, VIII, IB, and VA and rare earth metals.

Organically polluted waters are purified by contacting with a solid copper-manganese-oxygen catalyst promoted with bismuth under oxidizing conditions. In one preferred embodiment, an aqueous stream obtained from the effluent of an oxidative dehydrogenation process containing contaminating oxygen-containing organic materials is subjected to oxidizing conditions in the presence of a copper-manganese-bismuth-oxygen catalyst to convert the water to an aqueous product.

Organically polluted waters are purified by contacting with a solid copper-manganese-oxygen catalyst under oxidizing conditions. In one embodiment, an aqueous stream obtained from the effluent of an oxidative dehydrogenation process containing contaminating oxygen-containing organic materials is subjected to oxidizing conditions in the presence of copper manganites to convert the water to a potable aqueous product.

Organically polluted waters are purified by contacting with a solid copper-manganese-oxygen catalyst promoted with at least one Group II metal under oxidizing conditions. In one preferred embodiment, an aqueous stream obtained from the effluent of an oxidative dehydrogenation process containing contaminating oxygen-containing organic materials is subjected to oxidizing conditions in the presence of a copper manganite catalyst promoted with at least one Group II metal to convert the water to an aqueous product.

Dehydrogenatable organic compounds diluted with steam, are dehydrogenated in the absence of free oxygen at high conversion and selectivity to less saturated compounds with a catalyst composite consisting essentially of one or more metals selected from the group consisting of Ni, Pd, Pt, Ir and Os, tin and a metal selected from the group consisting of gold and silver deposited on a support such as alumina, silica or a Group II aluminate spinel.
摘要:
Acetylenic compounds are selectively removed by conversion to innocuous materials by contacting hydrocarbon mixtures containing same with a copper-tin and/or lead-zinc aluminate catalyst. In one embodiment, acetylenic compounds are selectively removed from unsaturated hydrocarbon-containing mixtures in a cyclic process comprising alternate contact of the catalyst with a gaseous hydrocarbon phase containing acetylenic contaminants and thereafter of the catalyst with an oxygen-containing gas to regenerate the catalyst.

Acetylenic compounds are selectively removed from hydrocarbon mixtures containing same by oxidation in the presence of a solid copper-manganese-oxygen catalyst. In one embodiment, acetylenic compounds are selectively removed from a conjugated diene mixture containing same by contacting oxygen and a mixture with a copper manganite catalyst under oxidizing conditions.
