摘要： This invention relates to ink-receptive coating compositions and to articles containing a layer formed from such coating compositions. In one embodiment, the articles comprise a polymer film substrate and an ink-receptive layer on the upper surface of the polymer film substrate. In another embodiment, the article also comprises an adhesive layer on the bottom surface of the polymer film substrate. The articles may have a print image on the upper surface of the ink-receptive layer, and such print images exhibit improved performance when exposed to extreme environments such as high temperatures, water, solvents and abrasion.

The coating may include porous pigment and a binder which includes as a component a water soluble polymer.

The coating may be applied to backpacks, zippered binders, and pencil pouches, and to the transparent sheet material overlying photographs mounted in a photo album. Personalized writing or designs may be written or drawn onto the coated products using ink pens of virtually any type.

摘要： A decorative dry paint wall film includes a layer of dry paint, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side of the dry paint layer, and a release liner in releasable contact with the dry paint layer on a side opposite from the pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). The release liner has a matte release coat layer that contacts the dry paint layer. The release liner is released from the dry paint layer after the PSA side is attached to a wall. The matte release coat transfers a matte finish to the dry paint layer when the release liner is removed. The wall film includes a barrier layer to protect against significant discoloration of the color in the dry paint layer caused by migration of azo-type pigments from a painted wall surface. The barrier layer in one embodiment comprises a dry emulsion containing ethylene-vinyl alcohol and a dispersed polymeric material which in one embodiment comprises a urethane material.
