摘要: An apparatus for estimating a direction of arrival includes an antenna, a beamforming network, and an evaluator. The antenna is configured to receive signals, is circularly polarized, and includes a plurality of different radiation patterns. The beamforming network is configured to provide based on signals received by the antenna decomposed signals that are received by associated radiation patterns of the plurality of radiation patterns. The evaluator is configured to estimate the direction of arrival based on the decomposed signals and based on information describing signal receiving characteristics of the antenna. The invention also refers to a corresponding method.

摘要: A phase shifter includes a signal input, a signal output, an ESD protection circuit, first and second signal paths between the signal input and the signal output. The ESD protection circuit includes first and second two port devices, each two port device being switchable between a high impedance state and a low impedance state. The first signal path includes the first two port device of the ESD protection circuit and a first delay line configured to provide a first phase shift to a signal transmitted from the signal input to the signal output via the first signal path. The second signal path includes the second two port device of the ESD protection circuit and a second delay line configured to provide a second phase shift, different from the first phase shift, to the signal transmitted from the signal input to the signal output via the second signal path.

摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for determining information on a position of a transmitter with an antenna apparatus, a control apparatus and a data processing apparatus. The antenna apparatus includes several different directional characteristics that each relate to an amount of spatially different receive sensitivities of the antenna apparatus. The antenna apparatus includes signal outputs, wherein the directional characteristics are allocated to the signal outputs. The control apparatus connects one signal output of the antenna apparatus to an information reading apparatus and further signal outputs of the antenna apparatus to the data processing apparatus. The information reading apparatus determines data transmitted with the signals from the received signals. The data processing apparatus evaluates received signals with respect to their physical characteristics. Further, the invention relates to a respective method.

摘要: What is disclosed is a device for determining a piece of information on a position of a transmitter, comprising an antenna device, a signal processing device and a data processing device. Thus, the antenna device comprises several different directional characteristics, the directional characteristics each relating to at least a set of spatially different receive sensitivities of the antenna device. The antenna device receives signals from the transmitter with different directional characteristics, the signal processing device processing the signals received and establishing a respective amplitude value of a field strength. The data processing device establishes the information on the position of the transmitter based on the directional characteristics and the amplitude values having been established for the associated signals received. Additionally, a corresponding method is disclosed.

摘要: A support of an adjustability of an antenna beam direction is rendered less expensive in terms of implementation by the following measure: a beam forming network switchable between fixedly preconfigured beam forming states is coupled to an antenna array via a switching network switchable between different connecting states according to which the antenna interfaces of the beam forming network are connected to the antennas so that relative positions of the antennas connected to the antenna interfaces differ among the connection states, or more than one beam forming network is provided, each switchable between fixedly preconfigured beam forming states and coupled to a respective set of antennas of an antenna array, respectively, with the beam directions of provided be the beam forming networks being mutually disjoint.

摘要: An antenna device has a radiating unit having a plurality of antennas, configured to emit a radio signal with a radiation pattern. In addition, the antenna device has a calculator configured to generate and to apply to the plurality of antennas a plurality of feed signals based on an identification signal provided in order to generate the radio signal. The calculator is additionally configured to control the feed signals in a time-varying manner so that the radio signal is emitted with a time-varying radiation pattern.

The distinguished directional characteristic has a sensitivity minimum associated to a spatial detection region. The data processing device evaluates the signals received from the antenna device with the distinguished directional characteristic, as regards the position of the transmitter relative to the detection region. In addition, a corresponding method is disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for representing user information including an antenna apparatus, a processing apparatus and a representation apparatus. The antenna apparatus receives signals of a transmitter in a scene with at least one directional characteristic relating to spatially different receive sensitivities. Alternatively or additionally, the antenna apparatus sends signals with at least one directional characteristic into a scene and receives signals of a transmitter from the scene. The processing apparatus processes the received signals with respect to the scene and determines representation data represented by the representation apparatus. Further, the invention relates to a respective method.
